There is some overlap between the Force and magick, with the latter able to tap into the former, but the main difference is that the Force comes from the energy around a person while magick comes from the energy inside a person. That’s why one must be careful practicing magick, if you do too much, you’ll pay a high price. My mother lost her entire corporeal form for the better part of a year after doing too many high-cost spells.

Magick could accomplish many things the Force cannot. Creating a shield to keep attacks from reaching you, teleportation, healing a broken mind, and even using a placement doll to inflict pain upon another person.
