It did, in fact, have a serious effect on me after I discovered it in a labyrinth which manifested during the summer. It caused a suppurating rash that affected the skin of my right arm, shoulder, neck and up to my lower face. The rash did not clear up until I ...spent some time with a Blood donor who has also been a confidante to me. [He clearly wishes to keep this as discreet as possible.]

To say the least, it was a bit alarming. We'll start with the fact that I am a Vileblood, which means contact with bodily fluids is dangerous for people around me. Secondly, there was the concern it could leave me disabled or disfigured. Thankfully, I healed without a mark, however, I'm a little wary around books dealing with infections and the damage it can cause. And since I work as a Blood Minister, those are a common fixture in the library at the Lumenarium.
