Yes, though not like how I've read here. It's not the whole soul, it's like...

Imagine a clump of sand. It washes up on the shore and stays there for a while. When it finally returns to the sea, the sand breaks apart and gathers with other sand from other clumps. Then eventually it washes up again, in another form - another shape. And the cycle continues.
