So I will make this quick so as to not waste anyone's time.

I'm new and I have a few questions which I would appreciate being answered by anyone NOT named Darth Maul or anyone dumb enough to call themselves one of his cult members.

Are there any actual schools in this place besides an endless amount of weirdo dojos and their even weirder belief systems? [He saw all of the bickering comments.]

How likely is the house I pick to live in going to get wrecked the first month in... mostly because I rather have a car NOT fly through my roof a second time... not that I've seen any cars around but that's beside the point.

Seems like winter is going to be an absolute pain so where can I get decently warm clothes?

Lastly, how often am I going to open a door and experience an Escher painting suddenly surrounding me?

There's the School of Mutter. It teaches magic and a little about the city and its Patrons. I have asked Professor Ozpin to include academic studies in his new school, and not only fighting.

I should be glad to make you warm clothes, for whatever you have to spare. You need only ask the lantern imps for the Rookery. If you have anything you'd like me to use in your clothes, it would be very well if you could bring it with you.

Many people are proficient in warding houses against danger. I imagine some of them will respond here. In the meantime, the Sanctuary in Crenshaw is a safe enough place to stay. We have food to spare, and clothes, and an infirmary for any medical needs you might have.

The Tower seems to be ill. I have been trying to speak with him and Never Mind. I intend to make a video as soon as I know more.

And this is rich to be coming from someone with a username like that. Here's a piece of advice: look up the individual known as Chara, you two will get along swimmingly.

You also could have just as easily left me out of this post. Generally, people only specifically mention someone on the network when they WANT them to respond.

Except you have a bad habit of accosting me regardless of mentioning you. I thought I'd try spelling things out this time and making it clear I literally want nothing to do with you.

[Even if Ritsuka could read Maul's tone or intent, he wouldn't believe it. Maul made it clear that he wanted to get close to Ritsuka because he found out his ability. He found out what happens the stronger a bond gets. So Ritsuka won't and can't believe him. You don't constantly threaten someone's life, openly admit to wanting to use them, and harm them physically for them to go "gosh! They must suddenly be sincere now!"]

If this is you trying to play nice, it's a shit attempt. You made it very clear what you want from me, I remember THAT clearly. So does Yuiko, by the way. And I've no intention to give it to you.

Even now, you aren't listening. So don't be so shocked that I'm disinclined to play along with the farce.

[the clothes at the sanctuary are free, although largely shapeless, and sansa makes sure to have many sizes of secondhand shoes available on demand. she doesn't mind making clothes for new sleepers for free, provided they don't take advantage and repay her in the future, but ever since chara pointed out how much it sounded like a trap when rose da silva tried to offer general parental help and guidance on the net work sansa has been careful not to sound too good to be true.]

The Sanctuary is near the Orphanage, we work with them sometimes. Still, I can vouch for the Sanctuary and its staff. The food is very good, too.

I'm sure the School of Mutter has classes for Warmbloods, and anyone can learn any other blood magic with a little bloodstone. [sansa finds it distasteful and a little wasteful to use blood in its liquid state.] Some of my friends teach other kinds of magic, though. Sasuke's dojo teaches all kinds of ninjutsu, and not only fighting, and his lady wife Sakura teaches medical jutsu if you ask.

Anyway, the School of Mutter has other lessons about the city and the Patron Pthumerian. The Tower is one of them, and it's his month to rule. His domain is Innovation; he's said to have built Trench and inspired Pthumerians to take physical forms in the first place. He does seem to be ill, and it does seem to be causing trouble with the architecture. He's very powerful, and I know he helps to protect the city.

There are some very dangerous people out there who seem to think they can cure him with massive blood sacrifices. They have been known to kidnap Sleepers and take them inside The Tower somehow and bleed them dry on great hooks. They are known as Zealots, and they can be identified by their many scars and the way their skin seems to be flayed open in places. They are ancient Sleepers exposed to centuries of blood pollution, but they are not Beasts. Their minds are warped, but not gone. They are masters of their blood magic and very dangerous. It seems safest to stay indoors when they're about.

Anyway, my custom from Night Walker performers allows me to provide warm clothes to my fellow Sleepers for whatever they can afford. I would be very glad of any good cloth, leather, or notions, or good meat for Lady and Smores.

I don't mind taking blood as payment, either; I am an apprentice to a great jeweler and I try to provide more affordable bloodstone for the Sleepers here when I can. It isn't as powerful, but it's better than not having any at all. Darkblood and dark bloodstone would be best. There are always Architects looking for apprentices, as well, and Night Walkers who need dancers and chorus members for their performances.

You're welcome to come in for measurements first, and pay me when you can.

Warmbloods? Oh, the blood types thing. I don't know my blood type, well, not THIS place's version of a blood type. I can definitely say I'm not the glowing blood type like I've seen some people do on this thing.

How do I figure out what blood type I am?

Somehow "crazy, dangerous kidnappers" being the uniting thread of all worlds should feel like a bigger letdown but I can't say I'm shocked that that's what unites all places.

I can try and find some cloth and fabrics or uh... food for what I'm assuming are pets? I still remember my cooking lessons.

There's a few cars around. But I don't think they can fly, so you're good.

Ozpin runs a monster fighting school that I think will end up teaching magic and general survival skills too - but the school that has everything is the Big Bird's school. I've watched a few lectures there, they're all boring as fuck. So, you know, school.

No idea who Eskar is, but I don't think he's a big name in Trench.

You're the smartest new person I've seen so far if you already want nothing to do with Maul.

The houses are fine.

[Maul is slowly, ever so slowly, getting the idea of what boundaries are and why people set them with him. It takes a lot of repetition with him in order to get things. So he's only just now getting an inkling of why Ritsuka doesn't want him around.]

So don't trust me. Most people here don't and few have lived to regret it.

If you want nothing to do with me, go right ahead. We both know places like Deerington and Trench tend to force us into the same space eventually whether we like it or not. But I'll tell you this and keep it public so I can be held accountable: I'll protect you from anything here that threatens you. We both know I'm a bigger and more powerful monster than just about anything else you might run into. Just ask and I'll be there.

Hello, I'm apparently the other 12 year old who knows everything. Then again, Maul is an idiot so someone understanding basic concepts of anything or just using slightly bigger words is going to be really shocking to him in general.

The ones in Deerington didn't either... But, if a giant bear obsessed with the notion of our crimes shows up, we'll have to revisit the "they don't fly" comment.

See I don't want to learn to fight, is the thing. [He fought (ha) to not get kidnapped back home by Septimal Moon to become a child soldier. He wasn't going to willingly waltz into being one here.]

Escher was an artist who did a lot of things like one pattern turning into another or like stairs being upside-down or diagonal and infinite.

It's very easy to want nothing to do with him. You literally just need to meet him to realize that. The fact that he has a whole cult in this place is infinitely more concerning. But, I didn't want anything to do with him back in Deerington, either. However, he has a bad habit of not leaving me the hell alone. Glutton for punishment, I guess. Kay. Any particular place I should be wary of and don't say "everywhere" I get that part.
