[Having only just learned how to use video on the omni, Goku's feed is a bit shaken and choppy. He's really only half visible for most of it, kind of stepping out of frame every so often because he's clearly walking. You might see some of the rolls of bread he's carrying.]

Hi ev'rybody! My name's Goku, an' my friends said that I should talk to th' network if I need help with stuff, soooo... Do we have any healers around here?? 'Cause my friend's ankle is broken but he can't heal himself 'cause it don't work like that or somethin', so I was hopin' somebody else could help him??

Oh yeah, m'also goin' around deliverin' bread for him! So if Hakkai toldja that bread's on th' way over, that's me! Goku!

( Oh— another guy who knows Hakkai! Peter's giving a little smile to the other young man, a bit shy around the edges (and a bit gloomy; Peter perpetually looks like he Hasn't Slept.... boasting dark circles that could rival a panda's). Still, it's genuinely friendly and he's lifting his hand in a wave. )

Hey man, you must be new here? I'm Peter. I know Hakkai, he's a really cool dude.

( Peter's a big fan..... There's a pause as he realises, features turning concerned. )

Wait— his ankle got broken? What happened to him?

[It takes Goku a second to respond, having to adjust his load of bread so more of his face is visible. He's got a big bright grin on, even though you can now see a bandage plastered along the edge of his jaw.]

Hakkai's the best, huh?? That's why I gotta help him out right now while he ain't feelin' so good.

[His grin wavers just a little bit at that question though, eyes darting to one side for a second.]

Mmm... He kinda got into a real bad fight. But he's okay now! 'Cept for his ankle, anyway.

I don't know any healers personally but I'm sure a Blood Minister would be willing to help set the ankle. Other than that, he should only need a couple of nights of sleep before he's all healed up. [ The benefits of being a Sleeper. ]

I'm glad to hear Hakkai has a good friend like you to help him out. [ She can suddenly see why Hakkai is the mom of the group. ] I'm Sharon Da Silva.

[Goku looks a little disappointed at that news for a second, making a soft, thoughtful noise.] Soooo... It's okay that he just rests up?? Even if I don't find a blood minister thingy?

Oh! Are you friends with Hakkai, too?? Nice to meetcha, Sharon! I'm Goku!

[As if he hasn't said that several times already--]

[ That's a strange reaction. ] Yeah, it should be okay if he just rests up. Why do you seem disappointed?

And I don't know if I'd call us friends, people use that word too liberally, but I know him. I like him. He's cool. [ a beat and then: ] It's nice to meet you, too, Goku. How long have you known Hakkai?

[Caught like this, he looks a little embarrassed.] Well, uh... I guess I was kinda hopin' I'd be able to help him out for once. He's always helpin' us, y'know? So... [A shrug.]

Mmm, I've know him for a while now! We've been travelin' together for almost two years I think... an' I met him a couple years before that, too.

( Oh— Peter takes in the sight of the bandage, his concern blossoming a bit more. The boy looks like he might be a bit younger than himself, sweet-faced and youthful. There's a worry for him for that fact alone, and his brow knits a little. )

Yeah, he seems really great. I haven't known him that long, but.... he's helped me a lot.

( In a way that Peter's never really known before. Never mind that there's a demon possessing him who is slowly preparing to relentlessly torment Hakkai! Peter has no idea!! )

Shit, I'm sorry to hear that... I don't know any healers off the top of my head, but I can bring over anything if he needs it. Like uh, food or comic books or something.

( Would Hakkai enjoy reading those..... (Peter, probably not). )

Are you okay...? Looks like you've gotten kinda banged up too.

[The look on his face brightens at the praise, even though it's directed at his friend. Goku has all the love and pride in the world for his friends. It's just as good as if he'd been complimented himself!]

Yeah! You should definitely bring food an' comics over! He'd like that a lot!

[At least Goku will.]

Who, me? Naahhhh, I'm super fine! Just a little scratched up here an' there. No biggie!

Hey, you're delivering the bread, right? I'd say that's helping him out. [ Yes, this further just proves that Hakkai is The Mom Friend. The Calm Mom Friend Except When Angry, maybe, but she doesn't have enough information to make that call quite yet. ]

That's a long time to be traveling with someone.

I guess it kinda is... [He scratches at a spot just above the diadem on his head, nose scrunched slightly as if he's just smelt something awful.] I just wish it could be somethin' more important than that.

Aww, it wasn't just me an' him, though! Gojyo an' Sanzo are both there, too! Ah- Sanzo's not here right now, but back home the four of us are pretty much always together! We're gonna save th' world!

[Please hold while Goku has to actually stop and stare down at the screen, quietly mouthing the words as he reads them. Until he gets to the one that stumps him.]

Po... tee...? Poh-tee-on..s..?? Wassat??

[And BAM, there's a reptile on screen. Blinking wildly with his big ol' eyes.]

Um - it's - it's potions.

I'm um. I'm an - an alchemist...

[SEE WHY HE TYPES, GOKU.]

[ Well, Goku carrying that bread isn't too much of a surprise, given what Daniel has seen going down in his kitchen..

.. even if knowing that the guy is actually not a kid at all other than in temperament has been. Well. A lot. It leaves him a little unsure how to reply to this for a moment, but there is something about it that has him ~~curious~~ worried enough that he can't help but reply all the same. ]

Your friend's ankle? [ Considering what world Goku comes from, it narrows down the options, unless he made friends here that quickly.. ] Who?

Help is help. [ Sometimes it is that simple.

Still, did he just say...? ] Save the world? Really, from what?

[The question makes Goku perk right back up, eyes bright as a grin crosses his features. It doesn't really occur to him that this might be any kind of secret, or that maybe Hakkai had chosen not to share this with people for a reason. So he just goes right ahead and-]

Yeah! Back home some mean youkai lady's been doin' some stuff that made all the youkai go kinda nuts! So we've been on our way to find her an' kick her ass so everythin' goes back to normal!

UWAAAAHHH!!!

[Sorry buddy, but that definitely caught Goku by surprise. His eyes are big and his mouth just hangs open even when there aren't noises coming out of it.]

AAAAHHH?!?! You're a lizard man!!! You can talk!!!

[Well hey, there's a familiar voice! Goku quickly shifts his hold on everything so that he can see the omni better. It makes the bandage plastered along his jawline visible, but he's got that same sunny grin on his face anyway.]

Oh hey Daniel!! [Greeting him like nothing is weird here.]

Ah-- Yeah, uh, Hakkai was in a pretty bad fight when ev'rybody went nuts, an' his ankle got broke... But someone said it'd probably heal real quick here!

[You know what's a terrible idea to do with a lizard who has anxiety? Scream.]

[What did Goku just do?]

[Scream.]

[So, naturally, Melius Senyan, Dragonborn, savior of Tamriel, slayer of dragons, just plain shrieks himself. He doesn't mean to! It just comes out. And, honestly, it's less of a shriek than a Shout. It's not the full thing because he clamps his hands over his mouth before more than one syllable of fus ro dah comes out.]

[It still sends things on his shelves flying. And his omni dropping to the ground with a clatter.]

... I'm sorry!!!

[Guess how Goku tends to respond with screaming! With more screaming.]

AAAAHHHH?!?!?! How'd you do that?!?!?! Are you magic?! ARE YOU A MAGIC LIZARD?!

[That part at least doesn't bother him. Not when he's had Jeep as a playmate!]

( Peter can't help smiling at the way the "younger" (looks can be deceiving, Peter...) boy brightens up at that. )

You think so? Actually— are you living with him? I can bring some for you, too. Someone opened up a bookshop near where I live and they got all kinds of good stuff.

( He can't help still worrying about the kid; maybe the same thing that hurt Hakkai got to him, too? Lord knows this place has a plethora of dangers at any given time... but Goku doesn't seem too phased at all, which is probably telling of what he's used to. )

This place is seriously wild.... was you guys' world this dangerous, too?

Yep, we're stayin' together! Gojyo, too! I dunno about him, but I'd like some comics t'read.... Sounds like fun!

[That question has Goku looking thoughtful for a second, idly picking at the edge of his bandage.]

Well... Kinda? We've fought some pretty crazy stuff together, I guess.

I - I - I!!

[He can't get past that word. That one word. He even ducks down, curling up. Even dropping his device. That is too much yelling.]

[So here comes Melius' Omen. Settling down to peer into the camera with a dragon-y scowl.]

Mey zul! Joor, nahlot! [And then in the midst of her scolding dragon speech -] Fucker!

[Goku may not have any idea what this new dragon creature is yelling at him, but he knows that scolding tone well enough to react entirely on instinct. He suddenly braces himself as if he's going to be smacked silly by a fan, verbally scrambling for a response.]

M'sorry, m'sorry!!! I was just askin'!!

[The omen clacks her jaws. She growls and chatters more. Snaking her head back and forth. There are definitely more curses in there.]

[Finally, Melius' head peeks back into view.]

S-sorry. Um. She - she likes. Swears. A lot.
