Video; un: rosestorm | Blood Vials for all your aches and pains.

[The video begins with Makoto currently sitting in the garden at the house. Though at the moment she seems to be working on something unrelated to the flowers that are growing there. As she points at the camera several of her fingers are bandaged and there’s one on her arm too.]

Hey, those of you who have been having a bunch of headaches and stuff lately. Apparently, if you’re close to someone that has Vileblood it helps a bit, or just having a small locket or vial or something works too. If you need one just come by Usagi’s or let us know, I’ve done about a dozen so far. And it really does seem to work. I’ll make more if there’s not enough already.

[With that Makoto holds up a small vial attached to a small chain, as well another. Both filled with the green blood Makoto was still adjusting to, small streaks of red swirling throughout each.]

It can act kind of like a pain reliever too in a pinch, well if you don’t mind getting it on you. Just be careful with it.

Oh and I remember there are a lot of birthdays in October too, so if you need someone to make a cake for a celebration or anything you can give me a call too. So far I have one or two that I’m working on, but I still have plenty of time for a few more.

[After all she needed to practice and save up a little more.]

Other than that if anyone looking for a sparring partner I could use a little practice. I haven't had any since we've gotten here and I'm getting kind of rusty.

Usagi was talking about it, and since I have the right kind of blood it seemed easy enough. The charms were her idea too.

Yeah, it seems that way. But I didn't want to take a chance last month with how everyone was acting.

Yeah, I don't think I would have ever thought about trying something like this. But it seems like it really does work. I wonder if it's just because it kind of numbs everything?

Someone probably will, if they're not already making their own. But if not, I'll do what needs to be done, it doesn't take that much to make one anyway. It's kind of like going to a blood drive or something.

To be fair, I hadn't either at first.

Makoto-chan, that's your blood!

[Atsushi is hurrying into the garden rather frantically. The vials may be small, but there are still at least a dozen of them and they are still his girlfriend's blood.]

Are you okay?! Where did you cut yourself?

Yeah, I'll say. It's a lot better than last year. I'm glad that we've actually got to see the sun.

Makoto, I could kiss you.

[Guess who's a Paleblood?]

Would you mind terribly bringing one by my house?

Not all at once, but we don't even know how many people want them. So what we already have might be enough.

Yeah, it's kind of weird but it is.

[She still have shiver now and then thinking about how the green ichor was inside of her. But at least now it was a little helpful and not as tainted or cursed as everyone made it seem. It was letting her help in a small way to protect others. At his question she held up a few of her fingers which were now bandaged, and the one on her arm.]

It didn't hurt and none of them are deep or that big. They'll be fine in a little bit.

[It's no stranger to feeling like he carries a curse or is tainted. Atsushi would fully understand why Makoto feels like she needs to do this. That doesn't mean that he likes it. He carefully takes her hand between his, sighing at the sight of her bandages.]

Still... that's your blood. You need it. And twelve vials is... [Atsushi shakes his head slowly. If only he'd noticed sooner and had a way to stop her.] Are you feeling okay? It wasn't enough to make you dizzy, was it?

I'm fine, I made sure to eat ahead of time and had plenty of water. Though I was a little light headed towards the end, it wasn't anything serious and no worse than giving blood at a blood drive.

[All in all it was still under a pint which was the standard amount they took. The vials weren't all that large. She pulled her other hand up and held his hand as she cupped hers, it felt nice having him care so much. But really she was alright.]

I just sat down to make sure that I didn't get dizzy or drop any of them. Usagi was pretty helpful with picking out the charms and putting them on.

[... So it was Usagi's idea to make them all cute looking? Atsushi has mixed feelings about that. He doesn't want Makoto to become some of very cute bloodbank.

But he knows that if Usagi was involved, it was probably a safe endeavor. At least Makoto wasn't alone when she went through this. Still;]

Well. I would rather have you than vials of your blood... Please be careful. You already work so hard, Makoto-chan.

[Suddenly Makoto really did feel light headed and her face felt really warm as it went entirely red. I would rather have you. Suddenly she was happy and at the same time extremely self conscious, did she really look alright? Smile she nodded, her hands squeezing his lightly.]

I will be, I promise. You can have me instead of a vial if you want.

[Wait, that didn't come out right! Oh no she couldn't hide her face because he still had her hand, Makoto felt like her heart was about to beat out of her chest, her face definitely colorful for someone who'd just given that much blood.]

[Sorry, Makoto. But sometimes your boyfriend is a bit dense. He notices her blushing and the gears in his silly head turn in the wrong direction; How is she blushing after giving blood? That's a good sign, right? Or is her new Trench blood acting as the opposite of normal blood?]

Mm. I wasn't going to have it any other way.

[Perhaps said too bluntly, but taking a vial hadn't been an option. Atsushi planned to stay by her side instead.]

At least this way, I don't have to worry about sharing you with anyone?

A single extra, if it's no trouble. I've been having trouble getting out of the house lately.

{It's awful, dear.]

Y-you don't have to worry about that, no.

[W-was he really saying what she thought he was? She didn't know that he was thinking about things like that. If she hadn't been sitting down already she probably would have had to. They had been dating for a while now.]

Did you want to go inside? I think Usagi's out for a bit.

Not at all, I'll be over in about an hour with them. Do you want me to grab anything else for you? There's a lot of groceries and leftovers I could bring.

[She couldn't really eat any of them without being intoxicated apparently.]

[And here Atsushi's primary concern is asserting that Makoto is more valuable than a vial of her blood. He does notice the concern about Usagi being out and knows what that means. It's easier for him to be intimate when there isn't an audience.]

Mm... But are you sure? You're pretty red. [And he still can't understand why. Being concerned about her health has taken up all of his brain power.] Usually donating blood makes someone pale, right? I hope this isn't a bad reaction... It can't be an infection, can it?

[Excuse him while he checks her forehead with his hand.]

Y-yeah if you want to. I feel perfectly fine and we'll have the house to ourselves.

[The real question was why her face turned red when her blood was green now. She leaned into the touch against her forehead, it was cool and most importantly freed her hand so she could hide her expression a little.

When he mentioned something about an infection though she blinked a moment.]

No, it might just be from the meal I had.

Is food still not sitting well with you?

[That's a horror of its own, especially since Makoto does so much cooking. He's at least relieved to learn that she doesn't have a fever.]

Let's go inside then. It has been a while since we had the house to ourselves.

It still makes me feel a little weird.

[That was part of the reason she'd needed help, especially with the charms. Taking the hand that he had on her forehead, Makoto moved it to her cheek, she was still blushing a little but it was starting to reside a little.]

I-I didn't know that you wanted more time alone. With just the two of us.

This is so thoughtful of you, Makoto! Thanks so much!

But you know, you shouldn't be the only one supplying your blood, anyone who has the same type can, right? In fact, maybe a few of us ought to have something like a blood bank in case we want to volunteer some of our own blood?

I'll try and see amongst my friends who'd be willing to help supply. We wouldn't want you to be the only one giving blood.
