I need some assistance with my weapon. I'm looking to enhance it and see what I can do about replacing the plug-in blades.

( He focuses the camera, then, on a very interesting weapon laid out on a table in full. There are a few blades left. )

These disposable blades plug into these handles. I can propel myself in the air with this motor, and there's wires with anchor-hooks here.

( He points helpfully. )

I won't bother everyone with all the details of how it works, but if someone is able to hear me out then I'll answer questions about it and see what we can do. I'll pay or trade however you see fit, of course.

Is there a specific type of enhancement you are looking for in particular? Or are you open to any ideas here?

I'd mostly just like to make the blades I have harder and sharper, if possible. They lose their edge a bit fast. But if there are any other enhancements that can be made, I'm open to suggestions.

General upkeep, and perhaps some more tinkering to make it easier to steer with one hand.

And the blade casing is dented on one side.

Hmm... well, one idea I had was perhaps coating the blades in a thin layer of a poison that could be used if needed to slow down a target even if they manage to try to run, but that may run into the problem of the blades losing their edge too quickly depending on how often this is done, or what kind of agent is used to achieve that effect. Same for perhaps having a trigger of some kind where you can create an electric current to shock or burn the target as well, as it really would depend on the quality of the blade holding up under those kind of techniques.

In which case... it's a matter of what kind of steel can be acquired in this place. If possible, steel like T10 or LG Bainite would be the best option, as not only is this material strong, it's flexible and durable enough that some swords made of this stuff can even slice through metal objects with ease even if you don't add any extra gimmicks to it.

I can look into steel here if you can't. I'd like something more durable than what I have, since whatever I can get them made of is probably at a premium.

That would be appreciated. I can try to search for any sources that may have it here as well, but it will be better odds having more people looking into it than doing so all on my own.
