[Wow, it's a rare show of video from Melius. The Argonian is sitting on the beach, in the cold, at his little tent. A lizard, in the cold. But he doesn't seem at all bothered by it.]

[He shifts where he sits, and then just. Straight up thrusts a basket of mushrooms at the camera.]

I was - I was um. [He ducks his head, hiding behind the basket.]

I know mushrooms! Really well! I um - if you need! To know! I can - I can tell you!

Goodbye!

[He shuts it off, right there.]

[... basically, Melius is offering his services as a mushroom expert. With a lot more anxious yelling than necessary.]

O-oh um. I like the... the sulfur shelves. They taste like um. Chicken.

And um - these. [He holds up a handful of enoki mushrooms] Golden needles.

[Literally only Melius' horns can be seen in the video. He's ducked, apparently.]

O-oh. Um. Okay. Sulfur shelves taste like chicken. Golden needles are good, too. Puffballs - o-only eat those if um. They're all white inside, but they don't. Really taste like anything.

Y-yes. Yes, you um. You need to... cook it. Really well. And - oh um.

My... family. They um. They were alchemists. So you uh. You use a lot of mushrooms. In alchemy.

Oh! Oh, it's - it's creating potions, or poisons, out of normal things. Like plants. Or things like fish scales. Mammoth tusks.

Almost everything has alchemic uses! Y-you just have to learn how.

( Why can Peter relate to this.... lizard / dragon man(?) more than anyone else he's ever met here........

In fact, the only public video he ever made (not counting the accidental one that happened when he was high) was back in Deerington, and he pretty much exuded this exact energy.... right up to awkwardly ending the feed without knowing what to say or how to say it.

It seems like the only thing he can do..... is answer this. So carefully and quite unsure, because he's never spoken to a reptile man before, the teen turns on his own feed. )

I - I think some of them are... just mushrooms. The - edible ones. Mostly.

But there's - there's a lot I haven't seen before. Like the ones with water on the crowns.

I don't know . . I don't think I should handle anything delicately because I'm kind of klutzy and not very graceful and it sounds like these things could explode . . .

[Well. It's not a terrible shot. But it sure is Melius' horns, and nothing else. He's definitely hiding from the camera. And, you know, still filming, instead of actually using the audio feature.]

[Though, he slowly lifts his head a bit, peering into the Omni with one pale eye. He somehow manages to pull off baffled even with that little bit of visible expression. Good job, Meli.]
