Oh, definitely the shorter leash thing.
I lied and hid a lot of stuff before I got caught. And I mean a LOT. It's really his own fault.

You can't really ever KILL a demon.
But you can tear them apart and scatter them.
It's the nearest we get. They're still there enough to scream, but I don't know how coherent they are, really.
