There are some among the sleepers who may speak of a time called "The Nightmare." Our numbers dwindle, but we still persist. Before this world awoke, it was trapped in the slumbering dreams of a dying, terrified goddess. [She sighed.]

Trapped within those nightmares were the other Pthumerians. I met what I believe was the Doorway while we were there. She was waiting for her partner even then, trapped in a vessel, far from mortal eyes. Getting to her was accidental and hard.
