If your husband changing your username to buttman of all things would be the one thing to make me lose faith in you, I would have to start questioning the standards I live by.

[ .. a faint pause, and then she does add: ]

I mean, I got pretty close when that younger you seemed convinced that those stunts under incredibly dangerous conditions were a perfectly fine idea. [ Sorry, Shiro. She couldn't resist slipping that one in.

At least it might distract him from buttman for a moment. ]

That was not my most shining moment as a human being. I can't even blame being a teenager.

[Yeah, no, he is so very aware of how stupid that was. And he'd love it if that video could just be erased off the face of the earth.]

[ VICTORY. She'll count it. Shiro seems to be jugging ten thousand worries at any given time, so if Ange can make one vanish even for just a little bit, she feels like she's accomplished something.

It's why there's a sudden smile in her voice. ]

[ She feels pretty confident in saying that too. Who wouldn't like Shiro? Ange has distrusted and disliked people older than her for most of her life, and even she's down with him, so. ]
