Hang in there, everyone... This should just be only a couple weeks more right? The darkness at least. I've been on a planet for so long I forgot how to manage the darkness effects at first...
But take it from me and some other folks who worked or lived in space-
Try your best to keep a routine of "day" and "night" hours so your body has some sense of cadence
It should help you feel less messed up when theres no daylight to rely on
(To say nothing of the bugs which you should already know to be avoiding by now)
I'll try to think up any other good tips but the sleep cycles a big one
If you need help getting around too let me know
I don't mind lending a hand

Granted, I'd wager plenty of people around here might prefer fog and straightforward hostile creatures to what's going on now.

The locals here dont deserve to be menaced any more than we do
This is easier to manage with just some good advice as opposed to having to have magical powers or strength

Not for me, or anything, I'd be eaten in a heartbeat.
The tolls are different. That's all.
no subject
Have you gotten eaten or killed before

So. I'm not pushing for more fog, fewer butterflies. Sorry.
Still: the buddy system helps in either circumstance.

Seeing people get stuck staring and losing themselves all alone is no good right now
Its not really good anytime

Or avoid the bugs, but I haven't noticed any actual pattern for where they go.

Those lights they leave behind could be tracked, though.

Diluc was doing that the other night
Apparently theyre helpful?

But does it work?? did you try
no subject
It does, though. I'm saving what I have for another time; getting caught in a hope -> hopeless loop by hanging around those things seemed like a bad idea.
no subject
I dont mind helping gather more if other folks want to pair up and do it to avoid that loop

[He is kind of Opinionated Online, he knows this can chafe.]
If so: I have more jars. We can split the overall take.

I just dont know who you are or what you look like haha

[He'll fiddle with the omni to swap to video, revealing Nerd with Glasses. He squints, then holds up a hand. Howdy.]
I'm Palamedes. D'you have a favorite neighborhood, for light collecting?

BARKBARKBARK--] SHHH, Magnet!
[exasperated, he looks back over. behold: one-eyed anime with dog noises off-speaker.]
Hi, um. My name's Manabu. Sorry, I didn't say it when I posted at first, I forgot to, I think... Uh, not, not really? Just wherever's fine, so long as it's close to a lamp in case things get dicey.
no subject
Sure. Let's meet at the lamp in Willful Machine, by the canals. Plenty of buildings to duck behind in case of an emergency over there, too.
[A beat.]
I didn't ask if you're ready to do this right now. I've got time.
no subject
Though I may want to make a pitstop at the Roost... To get some containers, you know?
no subject
[He can do some loitering in the dark, that's fine. Only a little counterintuitive to the buddy system, but if it's right next to a lamp? It could be worse.]
no subject
Mn. That'll work. Stick near some light out there, okay?
[i do have an open for stuff here if you wanted to play out, or we can wave - whatever's comfy for u!]
