He fought interestingly. With honor, yes, but he was not fighting for a graceful victory or with nothing but his pride as a weapon. He wanted to live, for some reason. You can tell by the way he attempted to claw out a victory by any means necessary. I can respect his DETERMINATION. And even still, he accepted his end far more bravely than most would.
He reminds me of a woman I killed, back home. She, too, clung desperately onto life, but accepted the end with a defiant grin. I don't like to dwell on the past, but I did admire her spirit.
