Uh, I recently just DID get in a relationship with a super special girl, and we are doing well! You got any advice or tips?

I do have some tips. First is every now and again to do a sweet gesture that suits them perfectly. Do something that interests the both of you and make it special.

Sometimes after all it is just the little things that mean a lot.

I've been in my relationship with my boyfriend for over a year now. Recently, we went through a rough patch because I betrayed his trust. We'd never fought before and this one was bad. While we were able to eventually make up, I know that betrayal I made still hurts him. Any advice on how to make things right between us?

I do love that you can always be you. We probably need a bit of a lightening of the mood.

So... since we've been dating, what do you think makes the best kind of places and things to do for dating. You know, since Trench is such a different place.

See that is a very good start. A small gesture that if done correctly could be something deeply meaningful and a story to tell later down the line.

[Like how she got her red bow. There was a story behind that one from her first crush... who turned out to be evil... that was a thing that Minako did now and again. Either taken or evil.]

Also couples tend to go back to those moment slater down the line for important events too, so always keep that in mind. Like Vira and I. Our first date was a picnic so I used that idea for how I proposed to her.

[There were slight differences but the idea and though process had been there.]

Time is sometimes the only thing one can use. So long as you don't try and force things and work on it with them. Rebuild that trust so to speak it should work out.

... So long as you work on the actual problems that need to be worked on.

I mean even I have my moments where I'm not me, but considering what the worlds have been like I finally decided to try and be that person who tries to do the positives.

[Will she do well? Who knows, she just wants to at least try.]

[Now, Jason is not one to talk about certain things. He'd rather just shove them down and pretend they don't bother him. But he's also lived in Trench for half a year now and has suffered a lot thanks to all the denial.

So here it goes]

I had kind of an epiphany recently.

I have these feelings for someone. But he's not here, he's home.

So what do I do?

There's something she can't help but worry about in the face of everything Minako is rambling on about here. Maybe it's just that she's not experienced with love enough yet herself, but she can't help but wonder.. ]

.. Love should be.. smoking? Um, what should it be smoking?

[ Perhaps she's taking it a little bit too literally here. But then again, it's not like slang like 'smoking' existed in the time Chizuru comes from.. ]

I have a few ideas I can come up with!

I think it's important that we have someone to uplift and occasionally to distract us from the thoughts this world breeds. It's kind of easy to get completely lost in the whole "Oh no, not again" sort of atmosphere. A little diversion keeps it from all being drudgery.

Yes. Part of the problem is that I did something that hurt him and didn't apologize for it. I kept making excuses. So I had to face up to what I'd done. Admitting I was wrong helped a lot but I know he still is mad at me to a degree and feels like he can't trust me anymore.

Advice for a person who's loved and lost and doubts they can find love again, after they were changed to the core of their being?

There is one person I would approach, but I've wondered if I'm worthy of her attentions.

As for when that happened, that was a couple months ago... maybe three now. Felt so long ago.

Then it's really a time situation. Things cannot be fixed overnight. It's also a good time to work on things yourself to get to a point where they can see that you are trying to do better.

Because it's one thing to say sorry, but it's another to say sorry and then actually work to avoid what happened to happen again. The latter at least would help rebuild trust more than the former.

It is, I might even look into seeing if there are others who might have the same thoughts and think of things to do.

I mean others are doing things, but maybe seeing if those who might not come forward can if they have an ear.

That's a hard one because they aren't here. But sometimes writing things down might help. Like writing a letter. That way you are expressing how they feel and if they ever do arrive you have at least one way of letting them know.

Wouldn't have thought about doing that.

But you guys aren't married already, are you?

[Sometimes Minako forgets that people might come from different time periods, so assumed people would know ad understand what she was on about... In general that was questionable at best.]

It's basically a saying that love should be hot. Like it should be alive and kicking for the most part. Alive like a fire, not sizzling like a put out fire.

I think everyone deserves love if I am being honest. There might be reasons why some might now, I was once one of those people. I was always told that it would never happen for me and I believed them for years.

But when you find that someone who can see you for your positives and negatives and still care then I find that is worth it.

So I have to ask this? You seem to question if you are worthy but ask yourself this? Is that someone who has seen perhaps the most of you or parts of you that most might run away from, but still is perfectly okay being around you regardless?

[ Does Chizuru fully understand? It's hard to say. The tiny noise she lets out does have a bit of understanding in it, but at the same time she sounds a little dazed as she tries to process that metaphor..

Is that how people in other worlds truly talk about love? Or is Minako also a poet, aside from being a goddess? ]

But if love isn't alive, then there's no love in the first place, right..? [ She's trying to test her own understanding here now! ]

I used that example because it was something I tried myself and it helped in expressing my feelings but I never gave it to the person for reasons. But that was a turns out they weren't great reasons.

Would have been able to give it to them otherwise.
