( It hasn't been long since their corruption skyrocketed and became out of control, but it feels like it's been weeks at this point. So many awful things had happened to them at once -- all of them becoming a catalyst to helping their partner fulfill their goals and seek power.
They haven't been doing well since. They've used the moondrops to bring their corruption level to a far more normal level for them, but what's done is done.
They don't say much when they address the network. It's a simple, but sincere message. )
i'm sorry

( Frisk can't help but stop for a moment, hesitating to reply. They never really intended for this to happen. One thing lead to another, and the only price they seem to be paying this time is having a guilty conscience.
Her words almost make them feel like they're being forgiven. She's always been kind to them, and perhaps that kindness them is what pushes them to say more about the issue at hand. )
i don't want to hurt anyone again.
i want to try to be better

Those words are exactly why Chizuru has an easy time forgiving Frisk. Why would she be mad at someone who's clearly hurting? Someone who wants to do better? There's just no way she could ever do that.
Instead - as ever - she just wants to do one thing here. Help. She may not be able to help their victims, but the one thing she can do here is ask: ]
is there anything i can do to help you with that
[ Because she will help. No matter what it is. ]
please do not hesitate to ask for whatever help you might need [ Because Chizuru sure knows a few people who have a hard time with actually asking for help..
(Herself included, honestly.) ]

( They don't know what to ask for in this situation. Everything feels so complicated right now. They don't know why her kindness makes them feel all the more guilty.
But, they don't want to push her away, either. That isn't something that would be fair to her. )
i just don't want you to get hurt. things started to change because chara got hurt
( But, they aren't blaming them at all. If Chara sees this, Frisk hopes that they can feel that much through their connection. )

She's a little hesitant to type what she figures is the obvious reply here. It's something she worries a lot about when it comes to telling others about it, but..
Maybe it's what Frisk needs to hear. ]
do you want to know a secret
you have to promise to not tell anyone else
no subject
I promise that it'll just be between us.
( They're good at keeping secrets, but... that also comes with the territory when you don't talk very much to begin with. )

i cannot get hurt
[ Which may sound a little strange out of context, but at least Chizuru bothers to clarify for them. ]
even if someone hurts me, it will heal before it can really do anything too bad [ A few exceptions - but, look, she's trying to reassure Frisk here, so she's not going to add that part. ]
so you do not have to worry even a little bit about me getting hurt
no subject
... Were you about to heal when you got hurt before?

[ Of course she immediately knows what they're talking about, even though it's a while further back at this point. Chizuru hasn't forgotten that moment, after all. How intense everything had been. How she had just wanted to protect Frisk, but they were the one who protected her in the end. ]
i figured that it was better for me to take the hit because i knew i would recover
it just would have taken a few moments longer
it would have been a lot more trouble if you had gotten hurt after all
and i do not wish to see you sad
no subject
I don't want you to be sad, either.
That's why I'm really happy to hear that you can heal yourself.
I guess we're kind of the same.
We can both make it so something didn't happen.

Frisk has a good point there, but it also makes Chizuru wonder something about them. Or perhaps worry is the better word. ]
no one has ever given you trouble about your powers
have they
[ It's a question.. Chizuru is not great with question marks yet..
But considering how people called her a monster for her powers, she really doesn't want them to have fallen into that same awful position. ]
people are often afraid of what they do not understand

( They think of both Flowey and Sans. At one point, they were adversaries for Frisk. But, when Sans had fought Frisk... they knew that it was for the purpose of stopping them for what they hoped would be for good. )
My powers of DETERMINATION ended up a lot stronger than their own. They couldn't use it anymore. When they were able to use it again, they hurt me a lot.
But... when I had the chance, I didn't want to do the same to them.
no subject
[ And it's also the way Chizuru expected - no, expects - Frisk to be. Trusting that they are a good kid. That they wouldn't want to hurt anyone with their powers.. but instead only help. ]
hurting someone is never a good idea even if they might have hurt you first
it just starts an entire spiral of pain that can only be broken with forgiveness
someone has to be the first person to forgive
no subject
Someone who hurts someone else could do it because they're hurting, too.
Instead of doing the same in return,
You could save them by reaching out to them instead.
