All right. Fuck. So, uh, anybody make wishes durin' that festival? They... kinda work. I donno if anyone tried to contact me, but I was out of commission for a while. I woke up in some weird shit that I'm bringing to the Sanctuary.

I don't know how else to explain it. I wished I could see Salim, know he was okay. And I did.

I saw all of 'em, Vik. We were back in the temple, right where I remember bein' before I got here. We blew up the vampires, got outta there, and eventually air support came to get us. Took 'em long enough for Salim to get away.

[He delivers all this in the same sort of professional tone one might give a report]

that's... really the wish answered. he doesn't consider himself particularly spiritual but he really has to wonder if ammy had anything to do with it.]

Well, now we must do this festival again next year. It apparently gets results.

[There's a barely noticeable beat of hesitation; since Obi-wan recently gained more memories, himself, a combination of being too unwell to be able or take up the role of teacher or being reluctant has left Ezra in uncertainty, in that aspect of their relationship.

But then the teenager smiles, warmly. Regardless of whether Master Kenobi currently sees himself as capable of guiding a padawan, Ezra has always looked up to him, anyway.]

I feel like we're still working out how to adapt what we can do, to act as Jedi here. But the work the Sanctuary is doing aligns well, so far!

[ She assumes not, since that's an odd wish! But on the other hand, it sure is what his message is making it sound like to her. ]

No, I... I wanted to see my people, the ones back home. [Well, one person in particular] And somehow it happened.

[ She sounds even more surprised by that, honestly.

And Chizuru is really thinking that she should have wished for it that directly.. It's kind of disappointing that she wasted her chance now. It's a feeling she quickly pushes down though, not wanting to ruin this happy opportunity for him. ]

That's so amazing.. You must be feeling so glad that you were able to do so!

Yeah, it's a real weight off my mind knowin' we're all safe and alive.

That's good.. [ Because she can only imagine how he must have felt if he would have gone home, only to find everyone there in terrible shape somehow..

Even though she can't be sure about whether he was in a perilous situation back home. Chizuru is mostly assuming he is, considering the entire army thing. They aren't often in safe situations. ]

What was it like..? Did everything back home just.. um.. kind of move on without you while you were here..?
