Hey there!

Ruby Rose here. If it's your first time seeing me around then it's nice to meet you and if it's not it's probably great to see you again!

So it turns out that this place is about as dangerous as the dream was. That kind of sucks, doesn't it? I mean- I'm used to all kinds of monsters in my original world but I totally get that it's not everyone's jam. which is kind of why I'm here today.

Back in the dream Mako and Wu had set up a safe house and supply cache system. I think it worked out really well and I've been speaking with Mako and we've agreed it might be a good idea to get that going again. I tried to convince him to get up on video with me but he got all grumbly and walked away. Introverts, am I right?

Ideally it would be super great to get one of these set up in each district but I figure that's going to take a lot of work. So I propose we set up the first one in either the Willful Machine or Cellar Door districts so it's in a central location and we can branch out from there.

Next we're going to need ways to defend and protect the area whether it's people actually actively hanging around, magical protection or whatever cool skills people might have. I'm open to any ideas here. Medical care and any sort of food or other supplies are also going to be necessary too.

Okay I think that's about everything-

[There's a buzz that comes from Ruby's Omni and she glances down at it.]

Oh-Oh! One second- It's Mako.

He's saying "We need to tie this into the network. Ask about extra lamp skeletons." Okay! First off! Rude. They're Cute Little Lamp Friends, don't call them skeletons.

But he's got a point! If anyone has any extra C.L.L.F's to lend that would be a huge help too. Being able to quickly access the locations would be a huge help.

Anyways that's all I can think of at the moment. If anyone has any questions or suggestions I'd be happy to answer them.

I can offer my home as a safe house? I'm... also in Cellar Door though, so if that's not going to work, I understand. We have lots and lots of space, honestly. Not... as much as Wu's place, but not bad.

Are there are any houses free near your place actually? Why don't we set up shop nearby. That way we don't intrude setting up a whole operation there and it's close enough that you're nearby to be a first responder?

To be honest, I have no idea? I sorta saw my house and immediately stopped checking out the houses around me. But I can't imagine it'd be hard to look and see?

Fair enough! Well we could make a day of it and go find one that works out great.
I think I'll be working out of this first one a lot until we get more set up. So I don't want to just intrude on your house like that.

But I'd love it if we could keep it close by. I don't know many places safer than around you.

[Ruby's comment makes Usagi go BEET red about safety and she scratches the back of her head. Thank the stars she's not a Coldblood or she might start STEAMING.]

Ah, yeah, of course we can! We'll have to see if there's a way we can make it a lamp location in some way. Or just use my home as the way to get there. Pretty easy to just... think... "giant pink house" and wind up in my home.

[Oh she just grins seeing Usagi heat up like that. She was about one of the toughest and kindest people she knew here, and she deserved to know it.]

That's a good point! I've had a couple people off up their Lamps Friends to the cause so we could probably leave one at the location and one at your place. I think both would work.

I'M NOT BLUSHING! [She honestly just blushes harder.]

They... still have them? [That was surprising.] Well, if someone is okay with that, then I am. We should get some place that's really easy to think about. That's how the lamps work, right?

That's what people are saying. Sounds like some people aren't too keen on getting from point a to point b quick apparently.

Yeah! That's a good idea. Like your house in general is super easy to think of- I'm kind of thinking we could make some sort of symbol for them. Something anyone would be able to think of in a pinch.

...A little stumped on just what to use.

Well, how about a symbol for food, a symbol for safety, a symbol for medicine? That way if you need like, Eddie for healing, you could figure out where he is. If you need protection, you could look for Mako or your house!

That's a good idea. I would have to check with Eddie. I know he was using turtles back in Deerington for his clinic.

We could do like a shield for protection.

And like chicken nuggets for food!

.... Um... why chicken nuggets? Won't that just look like a tan circle? Why not something like a fish? Or a cupcake? Or oh oh! Maybe a strawberry!

I was just kind of hungry and it's the first thing that came to mind. Those are way better ideas- Oh! What about a cupcake with a strawberry on it!?
