[ There may be five, ten, fifteen- more... little ice saucers around Bail, all in various levels of melting. He has had the wherewithal to at least attempt this outside, whatever this may be. Some do look a little more wonky in design than others. Perhaps it is the melting or perhaps he is just getting a little better as he progresses...

The current one is still in his hand, slightly thicker and a bit more circular in its shape. About plate sized, and thicker. One may still be hard pressed to figure out what he is doing. In all honesty, Bail hasn't the foggiest either. Melting cup holders? Ice pucks? ]

I am to assume that this is one of those things were practice does eventually makes perfect.

No. I can pull the corruption out of people here and I've yet to meet anyone else who can.

[Such a power would have had anyone else with half of Trench clamoring at their door. But Maul's personality put a lot of people off from even thinking about trusting him.]

That seems like it would be a useful ability to have.

It is. When people bother to trust me enough to let me actually help them.

[Maul knows for a fact that is entirely his fault given how all he's done and his general personality. But at least occasionally he's been able to help his friends and family on occasion.]

Trust does tend to need to be earned.

On both sides. I don't trust many people and I do not give them many reasons to trust me.

Getting close to people makes it easier for them to betray you and stab you in the hearts.

[He's gotten a bit better about that as time has gone on her, but unfortunately he's also experienced enough of people using his trust against him to still not make it worthwhile in his mind.]
