(VIDEO) — UN: BOMBSHELL

(the video begins of a zoom up of a pair of eyes. an animal to be exact. they blink curiously before it gets pulled back -- revealing it's a spider monkey holding the omni. he holds it up above him and even turns it upside-down and other various angles. hopefully the lovely people aren't easily to become motion sickness upon viewing this but if they do, their own fault really.)

(there's a voice coming from off camera; familiar to some or not. but the monkey looks off to the direction of the voice before turning the omni over so whoever is watching can now see jinx sitting in a chair -- slouching with her arm hanging over the top railing. there's a grin that slowly grows on her face, however, it's not... exactly a friendly kind. impish? troubling? dangerous? you'd be the judge. nevertheless, jinx hunches over now with both her arms drape over her knees -- looking directly at the omni.)

So! — Greetings people of.... whatever this place is. Kiiiinda forgot the name but not really important. I've been hearin' a lotta here and there that I've been here before. Don't really remember it, though. (a brief pause as she thinks.) Except the last time. I remember the last time but not the other times.

Buuuuuuuuut ♪! Since I've been here a whoooole BUNCH of times that means I gotta have some friends here, right?

(she bites her bottom lip to hold back a giggle as the video suddenly wavers around. but quickly it straightens up and focus with a closer look of jinx (it seems she's the one holding it now) in a bird's eye view. her spider monkey climbs on her body then curling himself along her shoulder and neck while also looking up at the feed along with her.)

So if ya know me, contact me. OH! And you got like, thirty minutes to convince me why my former self even bothered wasting my breath on you. Don't keep me waitin' too long 'cuz I get bored easily.

(a beat.)

ACTUALLY, NEVERMIND!!! — Decided to change it to twenty minutes. (her spider monkey seems to be screeching in laughter at jinx's sudden time change but resumes on nuzzling it's head against her cheek.)

OH OH! One more big thing. There's someone here by the name of Vi. If you know her, contact me too. So we can aaaaalll be friends and get along. No shame in that, right?

(she says this but there's something about that smile that really makes it... off putting. regardless though, jinx hums quietly as she cocks her head to the side.)

Tick-tock, tick-tock.

(this stranger may be teasing her and it might be a joke. though, she doesn't laugh along with it (at least not right away). instead she smiles but it's demented; the silence is thick and she's allowing it to be heavy and agonizing. her eyes widen just a smidge -- the pinks glistens sharply however quickly resort back to normal. then finally, she giggles with a low shake of her head. the red streaks mixing in with her blue locks if sharon wishes to notice.)

Eh heh heh, right, right...! Secrets. Gotta hand it to Vi to always keep things a secret. She's pretty good at it. She oughta have a new name. Like, "Vi the Keyholder of aaaall secrets". — Don't gotta worry about her squealin' about anything.

[vi will take the heat for this - she's the one that looked more ridiculous on the network over it, anyway, if it's what she thinks it is. hokay. let's do this. she's just gonna flip her video on so jinx can have a view of the chaos in willful machine as she just leans up against a building to see what she can steer back toward "here's what actually happened". due to this month's blood fuckery she'd have a better chance if she were in the rookery, proper - but she'll be back soon.]

Hey Jinxie. [it just comes out. oops blood effects.] It's me, the keyholder of like, a couple open secrets that you can find on the network if you're hell bent?

Pretty sure she's talking about the part where I kinda said a whole bunch of stuff and made a dick joke about my boss. Only, it was only half a joke because I don't think it was intentional and here I am doing it again just without specifics. So yeah, we bonded over me being a dumbass. Huge shocker, there. [also without being funny. she's moving now, through a crowd and into a shop, omni momentarily pocketed - still on. there's muffled voices, a brief pause and if jinx listens carefully she might hear vi asking for several dozen cookies before she is visible on screen again.]

I can keep a secret, and that's not a bad thing. There's stuff people say that I'm not gonna blab about to anyone, because that's their call. That goes for you, too, you know.

(and look who figured out very quickly how to private/lock calls? it was crazy easy to figure it out really. also, it's the "jinxie" that somehow makes her redness of her face show across her pale complexion of her cheeks. it's...cute. yet still her heart sinks a little to know vi might still willingly keep secrets? and how is it not a bad thing? to not be honest will just cause harm in the end.

and jinx figures maybe... the two of them can always be open with each other like her and silco. he always let her listen in on everything in his office from the rafters. he made it seem there were no issues on that front so why can't the two of them do the same thing?)

Are you... still gonna keep things from me then?

[see? you'll be hacking her omni in no time, and she probably won't even be that mad.]

Short answer is nope. I'm not.

Longer answer, I know I know, cut to the chase Vi, I'm not gonna keep my stuff from you, no. Ask me whatever, and you get the no bullshit answer, even if it hurts. And you know I want the same. I'd rather you just tell me stuff and worry about my feelings later. Or just don't worry about my feelings at all. Get it off your chest and I'll figure it out.

But like, if someone you don't know tells me ...I dunno, something really personal that happened to them back home wherever they're from, I wouldn't just run to you and spill it. But that doesn't mean I'm going to hide my shit from you. No way. Not doing that.

What I also mean is, when you tell me shit, I'm not going to run and tell someone else about it either, unless I'm allowed to. Unless I'm bragging because it's cool or funny or unless I'm trying to save your life. Which ...I get the feeling that most of the time you can more than handle yourself. You're my little sister, but you're not a little kid.

(all of her wild energy or even pissy energy fades more and more as her sister speaks. it's not at all bad -- it's more so she is calming down and setting that chaotic nature to side for a moment. and as her sister speaks, she sways her leg idly underneath the desk and draws little invisible circles on the countertop. there's a smile that steadily grows as the fear of her big sister keeping all of her things away from her vanishes. it's something to get use to -- the trust, to not immediately think of what was done in the past or the past in general. it will probably be a pain that jinx will need constant reassurance but... hopefully her sister can handle that.

she doesn't say anything at first but soon hums softly:)

Mm... okay. Also? I like Jinxie. It's really cute.

(and honestly hearing it makes her want to squeal inside because they're... they're doing this. this whole sister thing that she always wanted really is happening and it's not at all a dream or a fake.)

[she doesn't mind the constant reassurance - and even when she does, she will remind herself that it's no different than vi needing her door open, her curtains pulled back - if she could wave all that away she would, but it's not that easy. probably never will be.]

Well, then I'll keep calling you that. [a beat, and an affectionate, proud smile.] You're really cute. [she boops jinx on the nose through her omni, because why not. and if not now, when? so: now, obviously. being deadly does not invalidate the cute.]

Come off it, I'm not cute. The word you're lookin' for is vicious.

(still though, she folds her arms over her chest -- sinking low in her chair to hide her blush and embarrassment. thank goodness this is a private feed but sansa is in another room. she could be listening in.)

(not that she hates them, definitely not. but the "you're stronger than you think" had been living rent free in her mind for so many years -- she almost forgot her big sister had way more of these underneath her sleeves.)

Surprise surprise. I'll have to come up with some new stuff to say.

[she never thought she would have the chance to say anything - so she's trying to make what she says count. it's easier due to statuary, and blood effects, but there's also a clear want for this to happen. to make real change, even if it's not perfect. don't cry you're perfect (oof) has been living rent free in her head, too - but it's only been months.]

[ all right, this girl clearly isn’t one to joke around with. she’s not playful in the fun way, she’s just batty. ]

Chill. [ whatever teasing was in her tone has evaporated and her words take on a flat edge. ] It was a joke, one that obviously touched a nerve. If it helps, I share zero secrets with Vi. We chatted over a mutual admiration for one of my mentors.

(is she lying or speaking the truth? it's a little difficult to spot without a face to see any tells. but it's not impossible to hear it in a voice. so jinx is being attentive as she speaks -- picking apart each syllable of her words; for any quiver or swerve in her speech. she hears nothing besides the "chill" giving such a punch.

so for now, she'll leave it be. unless this stranger is good on masking -- in which is quite possible, too. with her muscles loosening, she relaxes in her seat with a smile.)

I thought it was hilarious but to each their own. [ there’s a lazy shrug to her voice. she’s leaning into the easiness in her voice as if she were entirely unperturbed by Jinx’s seeming volatility. ]

[ she’s quiet a long moment and then hums curiously ] You know what? Sure.

[ woah not a question she was expecting ] Nope. [ the word comes out easily and quickly. she does think Vi is handsome but Sharon doesn’t crush easily. ]

Would it have bothered you if I did?

Depends. What kind of woman are you?

I don’t know, honestly. I’ve never had to think about it before. I’d say I’m… the kind that’s stupidly loyal to those I trust, the kind that would kill or die for those I care about, and someone who doesn’t forgive easily when I’ve been betrayed.
