(the video begins of a zoom up of a pair of eyes. an animal to be exact. they blink curiously before it gets pulled back -- revealing it's a spider monkey holding the omni. he holds it up above him and even turns it upside-down and other various angles. hopefully the lovely people aren't easily to become motion sickness upon viewing this but if they do, their own fault really.)

(there's a voice coming from off camera; familiar to some or not. but the monkey looks off to the direction of the voice before turning the omni over so whoever is watching can now see jinx sitting in a chair -- slouching with her arm hanging over the top railing. there's a grin that slowly grows on her face, however, it's not... exactly a friendly kind. impish? troubling? dangerous? you'd be the judge. nevertheless, jinx hunches over now with both her arms drape over her knees -- looking directly at the omni.)

So! — Greetings people of.... whatever this place is. Kiiiinda forgot the name but not really important. I've been hearin' a lotta here and there that I've been here before. Don't really remember it, though. (a brief pause as she thinks.) Except the last time. I remember the last time but not the other times.

Buuuuuuuuut ♪! Since I've been here a whoooole BUNCH of times that means I gotta have some friends here, right?

(she bites her bottom lip to hold back a giggle as the video suddenly wavers around. but quickly it straightens up and focus with a closer look of jinx (it seems she's the one holding it now) in a bird's eye view. her spider monkey climbs on her body then curling himself along her shoulder and neck while also looking up at the feed along with her.)

So if ya know me, contact me. OH! And you got like, thirty minutes to convince me why my former self even bothered wasting my breath on you. Don't keep me waitin' too long 'cuz I get bored easily.

(a beat.)

ACTUALLY, NEVERMIND!!! — Decided to change it to twenty minutes. (her spider monkey seems to be screeching in laughter at jinx's sudden time change but resumes on nuzzling it's head against her cheek.)

OH OH! One more big thing. There's someone here by the name of Vi. If you know her, contact me too. So we can aaaaalll be friends and get along. No shame in that, right?

(she says this but there's something about that smile that really makes it... off putting. regardless though, jinx hums quietly as she cocks her head to the side.)

[sansa very carefully does not laugh or roll her eyes at jinx. she's been watching the post. jinx has not managed to gather much actionable information.

Of course. Sharon's the one called 's-d-s,' by the way. And Taka is our teacher Sasuke Uchiha, he'll probably forget to tell you. He's good, although it isn't easy for him. And there's tea and sugar in the tins on the counter by the lemons, if you wanted any.

We definitely caaaan't forget about the tea. Y'know, there are OTHER drinks in the world 'sides that, right? Ever thought into lookin' into that? And who knows, maybe if you drink somethin' else it will reduce how prissy you are.

(jinx adjusts in her seat -- propping her legs up on the desk; they go off camera but still no respect for the furniture if sansa collected them.)

— Y'know, I wonder if there's a tea out there that can boost for you to be more tolerable.

[sansa laughs a little, gently (perhaps a bit confused?).]

I never had that kind of tea before I came here. We didn't have that plant in the Seven Kingdoms. We made it out of mint and nettles and other things. My favorite drink is lemonsweet. It just sounded like you wanted tea.

[she kept mentioning it. and sansa does like tea. she drinks it every day for the caffeine, with a lot of sugar. she's very proud of the fact that she can steep it correctly; it was very hard to learn. and the house did come with a full tea service; the night walker who lived her before liked to entertain.]

I can pick up a bottle of wine on my way home. I don't know that it will make me sound any different, but it might make you less irritable.

... You're able to get wine for us?

(at the last drop and under silco's running, jinx is able to snag whatever alcoholic beverage she wanted without any hassle. but she also figured in trench, some rules might had changed with that. but sansa seems to be younger than her? or not. she never asked her age. but if she can snag some... )

[to the best of her estimations sansa is turning seventeen next month. it would never occur to her that her age might be an impediment to getting wine. she smiles wryly.]

It's not hard to find things like that in Cellar Door, and I make a lot of little pale bloodstones for trading. I can leave some out for you; they're easy enough to make when I don't mean to put any magic in them, and still very valuable.

(she takes a minute to consider this and then her mischievous grin she's been wearing all throughout returns.)

I imagine something here will dredge up my worst memories for you soon enough. Anyway, I found the house. It was practically a ruin, but I asked another Architect to help me.

Well, a few months ago my omni crystal sent a video to my friend of when my aunt tried to kill me, and another one a video of my father's execution. I suppose I should be grateful none of them went to the whole net work; that happened to very many people.

[she sighs.]

I was a hostage before I came here. They slaughtered my entire household; only my little sister managed to escape. It was all I could do to make myself useful to people who might want to help me.

[this is a very broad characterization of events, but it would take much longer to tell the whole story.]

(this got awkward and serious pretty fast and it leaves her chewing on the inside of her lower lip. to give her hands something to do, she finds herself tugging on her braid with her gaze looking anywhere else but the camera right now.)

Sorry. That uh, sounds like it really sucked. (no shit.) 'Least you're outta there? And... here?

(she is trying to sound sympathetic?)

[sansa's smile is genuine. she thought she's told as much to jinx before but honestly she can't keep track of which details she's told to who after so many formative years not really telling anybody anything.]

Yes. We're here now. There are worse places we could be.

[a pause.]

You know, cold bloodstone's very valuable too, and my old jewelry teacher could use a new apprentice.

[she's leveled up to a proper magic artificer with adaine's help.]

You know smithing, you could probably figure out how to use it to make swords on fire and things. It's very popular for jewelry and weaponry.

Swords and jewelry? Pfffft! — No way, guns and bombs are way better to make. Swords are just for old people who refuse to get up to speed.

[sansa laughs a little. she doesn't know enough about fighting to mount a proper defense of swords.]

Well, you could make a gun that shoots lighting. Flaming swords were only what I remembered.

[she doesn't know enough about guns and bombs to come up with very many plausible coldblood-infused versions, either.]

I'm sure you could come up with something better, Genius. We're always looking for ways to take down Beasts that doesn't spill so much of their blood, since it's very dangerous. Cold bloodstone weapons are good for that too; they can burn a wound shut.

There are a lot of smiths that might tell you how they put Coldblood into weapons, in exchange for more Coldblood. Then you could use it to make whatever you wanted. You could make gauntlets for Vi that shoot lightning when she punches, so she wouldn't have to be so close to the monsters to fight them.

[she says this a little archly.]

(and it's not because she is squeamish, afraid of needles, or even nicking herself. but it's more so because while she is a coldblood, there is another type of her blood mixed in. there is shimmer swimming through her veins.

a substance that can heal any wound and yet all the same, can either deform a human or give inhuman abilities. and it's a certain information about her she wishes to stay classified. the last she wants is to be pricked by all of trench and use her blood to solve all of their problems. no. she's not going to be their science project.)

[that's a little odd, but sansa's not going to press it. she lets her mouth twist to the side sympathetically.]

This place can make that a little difficult.

I can ask my new jewelry teacher if she knows anything about forging Coldblood weapons.

[sansa raises her eyebrows and gives a small snort of laughter.]

It's creepier when they try to test you by putting you in a room that will fill up with blood unless you put all the months on the wall in the right order.

[she lets her mouth tug to one side.]

They have lessons at the School of Mutter. I take them in the evenings after work. It helps me to keep track of everything we're expected to know.

[she takes a lot of other lessons with other people, but this seems like a good place to start.]

The first thing you said gives a new meaning of "dancin' in someone's blood". And y'know what? Now I'm bummed I didn't get to do somethin' like that to the Enforcers.

(she switches back because she forgot to do so. but it's also the WORST timing and the must out of context thing to switch back on. but hey, so far people are getting the message what she's about so. normal, right?)

Yes, well, I think the Moss King summoned all the blood. It wasn't even someone horrible's, so there wasn't any reason to dance. And it was very hard to get all of it out of my things, afterward. I had to walk around the catacombs with bloody hose on my feet.

It would be very funny to see the Queen Regent up to her neck in blood, though. But I'd rather just have her gone.
