[sansa is once again in front of her customary backdrop with the stark sigil embroidered over weirwood branches. she wears a black dress with wolves picked out at the shoulder in shades of charcoal and grey. lady sits next to her on the couch in a matching embroidered collar, but...there is another wolf, bigger and tawnier, looking mournful in a simple braided leather collar. and there is a spaniel, too, wearing a collar of black velvet with 'GUCCI' sewn in pale bloodstone, in sansa's lap, which she pets absently. occasionally the spaniel tilts her head up for more petting if sansa's hand seems to still.]

Hallo, this is Sansa Stark. I'm very sorry to have to tell you my good friend Richie Tozier has gone back into the ocean––but he has friends there that he missed very much, and I know he'll be glad to see them again.

[she draws a breath.]

It would be well if we could keep the Painted Turtle Clinic running in his honor. Richie had been looking for a Blood Minister to work with for some time, but we'd welcome any sort of healer. Lady Ange is working there now, and she will help you to get settled.

We may need additional wards on Turtle Cove itself, as Smores will be staying with me, and assisting at the Sanctuary as well as the clinic. She's very clever and trained to be of service. If anyone has temporarily lost their sight, she should be glad to come by and guide you.

[now sansa hesitates. various animals nudge her reassuringly.]

If you are a Paleblood who has lost their sight or hearing, it may be that I could teach you a genjutsu technique that might help. You will need to have good chakra control and a pet or animal companion besides your omen. Dogs are said to be best, and hellhounds are very well-suited, but we do have batcats still in need of homes at the Sanctuary, and ravens are good, if you have one that will stay with you. You can find me at the Sanctuary, or ask the lantern imps for the Rookery, and you only have to follow the rocks with turtles to the Painted Turtle Clinic. Thank you.

It would only be a very little chakra, as much as I usually share with Lady. And it's certainly not as new to me as the sewing machine.

[she had planned to make a post asking for an assistant to run seams for her, but this seems more important.]

I already have Lady Sakura at the Sanctuary, I wouldn't want to keep her away from the Wellness Center any longer. But I will talk to her about joining the clinics, there must be a way of bringing them all together.

A sewing machine isn't directly connected to your life force. Sharing even a little at a time adds up quicker than you'll expect.

Mm. She's used to working everywhere all at once.

It's like having a bad cold, unless something tastes super strong I can't really tell. [Who knew taste and smell went hand-in-hand!]

Ah that is true, I don't know that my omen would be big on me being close to dogs though. Margays are shy enough as it is for cats.

But yes! I'll be more than happy to help with the clinic! Though I don't think I could take over it considering I know next to nothing about that kinda stuff. Still, don't ever hesitate to call me for anything.

And I have found that omens are more like people than the animals they look like, even if some of them don't like to talk in words. Anyway, you could always try a batcat.

I've been learning medical jutsu from Lady Sakura at the Wellness Center, it's very good for keeping people alive until they can get to a healer. Perhaps you might like to train with her as well?

I can do that. I've got a vehicle - and a horse, but the bike's more reliable when the terrain gets weird.

Jutsu isn't blood magic. Everyone has chakra. Some techniques come easier to some people than others. Warmbloods can learn.

She's very busy, but I can ask. It may be that it would save her more work at the clinic.

But there's definitely still a burning question on her own mind, so she can't help but pipe up - even if it's just to Sansa, in this case. ]

Has Smores been alright with you? [ It must be a lot for her too to suddenly lose Richie like this, after all. Especially after all this time. ]

[sansa smiles gratefully. she knows ange understands, and she's glad she cares about s'mores.]

She misses Richie, of course, but she likes it here well enough. She's the eldest, and all the dogs look up to her. She must have been orphaned, to come into the care of Richie and his friend, so it's very good for her to live with Lady.

[she scratches between s'more's ears and pets her ruff; gucci yips at this momentary disruption in petting.]

Is the imp all right? Venkman?

It's good that she's not alone. [ And in the care of someone who knows a lot about dogs, judging by Sansa's company. It means that Ange just knows Sansa will take good care of her - and that the dog will have plenty of company as well, to make up for the fact that Richie is no longer here.

A thought that Ange is trying really hard to not think about too hard, or it'll threaten to drag down her heart too much. ]

Venkman is alright though. A little confused, I think, but it helps that he recognizes me. [ A tiny pause, and then Ange seesm to realise something as she asks: ] .. you call him an imp?

[sansa would probably recognize her from the clinic by sight, but when she came in with her blood hound during work hours she was mostly in too much of a hurry to treat as many people as possible to talk very much with any of the staff but richie.]

I feel like I have nothing but time right now so I'll head over there shortly. [being from a place where she was always on the go, it still felt strange not to be doing something and it didn't seem like she was affected yet so she wanted to make the most of it something did hit her] Besides with everything going on with people losing their senses or however else people are being affected this month, it seems like it'll be needed.

We have a few where I am staying at. The person who looks after them does a really good job. They remind me a bit of my cats back home.

I have to second Sasuke. Genjutsu and chakra control are hard to master and even harder to teach. There are so many layers and you've only just begun to scratch the surface. I agree that teaching it might be a good idea, but if people want to learn, please send them to Sasuke or myself. I don't want any harm to come to you or to others.

It's the magic that I have from my world. This is something I could do before Sasuke ever started teaching me. I just use your techniques to direct it, because I never learned any of the old ways. I wouldn't teach anyone who didn't have good enough chakra control already.

I would appreciate any help you could give, but I don't want to take up too much of your time.

I have no doubt that there are similarities, but there are differences too. I can't and won't speak for your world, but our techniques aren't magic. As far as the genjutsu and chakra control techniques that you have been learning from Sasuke-kun and I, you are not a master. There is a reason that only masters teach it in our world, and that is because you or someone else could get hurt. Even searching out and finding and understanding the chakra of others takes hard work.

[ She doesn't want to be harsh, but she was trained by one of the harshest masters in the ninja world, who would have broken her bones to challenge her readiness. ]

My master drilled these very messages into me, so I'm not telling you anything that I haven't been told myself. Now, I'm the master, but it took years of blood, sweat, broken bones, and grueling work to perfect my chakra control and it's all stored right here. [ She points to her forehead and the small diamond. ] This mark is the proof of my work.

And yes, I will continue to help and teach you, but until then, you should refrain from teaching the genjutsu and chakra control that Sasuke-kun and I have spent years mastering and are slowly teaching you.
