I don't know. For vampires, it is usually kill or escape. We're not easy to incapacitate.

Vampires can mean...a lot of things. I mean, growing up where I'm from, they're just cartoon villains who are scared of going outside in the day!

So I need a bit more to work with than not easy to incapacitate.

And I told you, I don't know.

I am not a vampire in the traditional sense. Yes, sunlight would hurt and kill vampires.

But I am half human as well.

I am not angry.

[ more like annoyed but it's all directed inwardly. ]

And I would not begrudge anyone their survival from . . . myself. As I said, it's not a normal occurrence. But I cannot predict what this place may do.

[siriusly]

No one really can. Only... [he breathes out a rueful kind of laugh.] only I don't think anyone needed any silver shots to take me down when stuff got bad in mycase.

But that's a good thing, considering.
