Salutations!

My name is Tenya Iida and before my arrival here I was previously enrolled at the preeminent educational institution called UA, which is one of the premier schools meant to hone our techniques and enrich our education in not only the matter of Heroics but also the general enlightenment that most High Schools are required to provide. The reason for making this post is to have a single directive to look at instead of having to search various messages to answer my questions. I humbly ask for your patience and to answer a few questions. The first question of mine would be: where does one go when they wish to continue their education? The next question would be, where is the best place to find residence?

I have also come to an understanding that monetary remuneration has no value here, so I am also offering my services in lieu of payment. I am uniquely gifted with the special ability called a quirk and my quirk is named Engine. Engine is a mutant-based quirk, which means it is a permanent alteration on my body. In my case, my quirk provides my family along with myself with engine-like protrusions somewhere on our bodies that allow us to move at extraordinary speeds. I am offering to provide quick delivery services or to provide someone with a combat-trained guardian of sorts.

For education, are you interested in guided learning, self-directed study, or both?

The best place to find residence is situational. What are your needs and preferences?

[ It takes some self-control to resist the urge to immediately ramble about kicks like a nerd... ]

[ Paul sees and salutes that restraint, even if he is immediately tempted to test it - but he's learned that Midoriya doesn't like to go into more than cursory detail about other people's abilities before they've had the chance to explain them themselves, which is a restraint that Paul has noticed is unique to him. ]

I think I like him already.

[ Midoriya can't shut up about his friends like he can't shut up about his favorite Heroes, and his UA friends are no exception. Since coming to this world without the safety of his community, he's had to be more careful about what information he disseminates, and it feels weird to do it when the subject is in another world anyway. It's become habit now for him to just let people tell their own stories. ]

[ He sounds slightly more excited than warranted. ]

He's very helpful and kind and funny [ unintentionally] and-- [ There's a pause in which Midoriya fights his urge to ramble again-- ] I'll let you get to know him.

[ Sometimes, Midoriya is difficult to please. His standards are high and exacting, and Paul is not built to meet them. Striving to rise to his expectations is a daily preoccupation.

But so much of the rest of the time, it's easy. Paul smiles warmly, unseen, basking in the bright enthusiasm Midoriya has for his friends. ]

I look forward to it. [ Teasingly: ] And I'll save the duels for another time.

[ There's a sound like something between receiving an elbow to the ribs and an exasperated groan. ]

When it comes down to my preferences for educational methods, I find it difficult to just choose one. Both methods have their merits and they complement each other rather well, but if I have to choose just one then I am not opposed to receiving guided learning. I can not stress just how much I appreciate teachers and their dedication to bringing out our best traits and helping shape us to become valuable members of society.

Then you want the School of Mutter, in Gaze. It's overseen by the Pthumerian Never Mind - you can think of him as the 'dean'. He also has the Archaic Archives in his keeping, a library of every book you can think of, for more self-directed work.

[ An upside of knowing Iida is a UA students: he doesn't have to worry about him being accepting of teachers with unconventional appearances. ]

The whole district of Gaze might be to your liking as a place to live, if education is your priority. It's a bit difficult to find without a guide either way, but I'd be glad to lead you there.

[Oh thank god that Iida is one of the later UA students to arrive here, the others are such shining examples of what it means to be a Hero. Even Bakugou. Really.]

Hello Paul-kun! I would greatly appreciate being guided to the school, I am not quite familiar with everything yet. If there's a way for me to pay you back please do not hesitate on listing your price.

That sounds more than fair enough. Is there a particular restaurant that you are particularly fond of? I am not very selective with what I eat but it would be nice to find local dishes I could enjoy.

There's a good noodle place near the mouth of the third canal in. Fresh seafood every day, and they have these little pepper flakes that are very good.
