Look, I know there was a ton of family drama with messed up timelines to get through.

[This is quite possibly the understatement of the century to anyone who has had to deal with a Skywalker whether they know how many people are connected to that family or not. But the feed pans to a strange mass.]

But did everyone just forget to warn me that sometimes people just fall asleep and end up in a weird eye covered cocoon thing? Maybe before my brother wound up in one?

[She takes a deep breath. She should be in better control than this. She's a Jedi, Jedi are calm, not irritable]

I should meditate...

He's the same Anakin as ever. So he's still my little brother and I still need to look out for him.

[His grin gets broader and more openly affectionate.] Hmm, it's an Obi-wan saying.

And I guess I can't really argue with that. I'm more used to being the youngest. But it doesn't matter how old the rest of my family is, relative to me, or objectively, I still like to look after them.

Family is important. That's how we've gotten through every wild thing the galaxy threw at us.

[Ezra offers a warm smile.]

I know your brother believes that too.

[She smiles back]

We had a weird childhood. But it's better to have that with siblings who always have your back even if they drive you nuts.

I've only really had siblings by choice, not blood. But in my experience, still true.

That sort of family matters too. Wookiees make great uncles.
