text; un: lady
Hallo, my name is Sansa Stark, and I make clothes by trade. I should be glad to make kimono for the Lady Chizuru, so long as she doesn't mind my wolf Lady accompanying me. I am well-versed in many styles of kimono; I made yukata for most of my friends for our tanabata festival honoring the Lady Amaterasu when she returned to the sea. I'm afraid we don't have many of the beautiful woven patterns traditional to kimono here in Trench, but everybody seemed to like my embroidery well enough. I am also well-versed in other common fashions of Trench, should either of you need anything else to wear.
I can be found at the Rookery for fittings and appointments. Either of you might ask the lantern imps to take you there.

what would you take for making one
no subject
I should be glad to take any fine cloth or leather, good meat for my wolves, any beads or trinkets, fastenings or notions and thread, Darkblood or dark bloodstone, or anything easy enough to trade. Truly I don't like to take much more than what I need in materials from Sleepers; I earn enough dressing Night Walkers that I can afford to be generous with my own.
I will need fine wool for her shifts as winter is coming, and any cloth or decorations she might like for an outer kimono and obi. I would suggest that any lady wear leggings under her kimono or gown, here, as we do seem to get thrown around by Pthumerians or circumstance every so often.

Oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh-- ]
you even embroider them yourself
[ If Chizuru were better at this entire Omni communication thing, there would have been many exclamation marks behind that sentence, because that sure is the general sentiment there. The idea of someone who can do that is so cool to her, and even more so since Sansa's full name doesn't sound Japanese. Did she learn how to make those somehow..? ]
you must be so very talented with it
i am not very sure if i have enough to trade with in exchange for clothes from someone so skilled

Anyway, I shouldn't like to charge any Sleeper more than they can afford. If you have any spare cloth or beads or leather, along with whatever you'd like me to use in your kimono, I should be very glad of it, and any meat for Lady and Smores. I am always looking for dark bloodstone and Darkblood to make it with, or any gems or trinkets easy enough to trade, otherwise.

[ She's determined about that. Even if it might mean giving away a fair bit of it, because even though Sansa is kind enough to say she wouldn't charge more than anyone could afford, it's still-- ]
i would never want you to be underpaid for the great work you do

[there are a few people]
I make enough dressing Night Walkers to keep Smores and Lady fed and buy tea and chocolate whenever I like. Anyway, I'm a Paleblood and a jeweler's apprentice; I just pay for everything with the bloodstone I make.
[wait...]
You were in the Bake Off; you did better than me. You can get a very good price for a little blood from any jeweler, pale bloodstone is very popular in jewelry here. You shouldn't have to worry about coin.
no subject
wait
really
[ A pause, and then a follow up: ]
how much blood can you give those people
[ Chizuru may already be making some mental calculations here.. ]
no subject
Well, they told me a Sleeper can give a pint of blood each day, but jewelers can't use very much very quickly, so I think you'd get the best price giving perhaps four ounces at a time, once or twice a week, unless they say they want more than that. You can start with my old jewelry teacher; I told him I'd send Sleepers his way in thanks, but that if I heard he cheated anyone I'd have to stop. That should give you an idea of what to ask for from any other jewelers.
[attached is a contact for a jeweler in willful machine.]

[ Robby's mainly been quiet and not too engaged over text to let Chizuru talk and get any more details, but he's curious about this one. ]

There's always mages and Scholars looking for Darkblood, too. Darkblood magic is very useful, and once it's in a liquid form it's easy enough to use. It isn't as popular in jewelry, but I think perhaps that's because other Architects will give you more for it.
Warmblood is most useful in Blood Ministry. You could do well enough for yourself donating it to the Lumenarium, I think.
Any bloodstone with enough power is very valuable, if you have it already. Blood mages are always looking for it, and most merchants know where to trade it on, even vile bloodstone and warm bloodstone.
Pretty stone is always good to trade here, and anything magic. Bloodstone is the best way to do any magic of another blood type, and for the people born here with human blood, it's the best way to do any of our magic at all. There's always someone here who wants it very badly.
no subject
appreciate you typing that all out
[ Because he does want to sound nicer than just giving a 'thanks' for the effort on her side. ]
no subject
i will make sure to go trade in some of my blood there then
[ Especially since Chizuru is well aware she can't die from blood loss. Not back home, anyway. And while she isn't too sure if the same counts for this place, it can't hurt to at least see if she can meet the maximum Sansa is laying out here..
If not just so she has enough to repay the other with. ]
i will make sure to get you some of the things you want in exchange for your advice and the help with the clothes
so please do not worry
i just want you to be happy about the exchange
since you have been so very kind to me

[sansa feels strongly that girls should have the clothes they like to wear!!!]
no subject
because you sound very skillful
[ .. and honestly, Chizuru isn't too picky. It's very likely that she'll love whatever Sansa makes, and even in a genuinely appreciative way, rather than someone who's just trying to be nice or polite for the sake of it.. ]
do you usually use specific colours
i mean i like all colours i am just a little bit curious
no subject
I could come and take your measurements wherever you are, otherwise.
[she doesn't really leave trench and the farming villages in her human body, but she doesn't really think that's going to be an issue.]
It will help me to fit all the layers together for winter, and then I won't have to tailor anything afterward.
no subject
[ Please. She wouldn't even entertain the notion of making someone come over to where she is. Chizuru would feel much too guilty, no matter the fact that Sansa is offering it pretty easily and lightly here.
If she's going to ask for something from Sansa - even if it's for payment - then Chizuru feels like she herself should also be putting in some effort. ]
i would like to look at the colours too anyway
i am very curious to see what you have
and then you will not have to go out of your way to meet up with me either
that is perfect right
