I have a request.

Well, a lot of requests. Tiny requests, for lots of people. Not necessarily just tiny people, though — tiny, tall, whatever. That is to say...any people can help. If you're a people? And you're a help? I would greatly appreciate that.

[From off screen, a voice that sounds like Tuck can be heard stage-whispering: "Tell them WHY..." ]

[Vyng clears his throat and puts on a pair of tiny-rimmed glasses to make himself at least a little dignified, and he continues.]



. . . You see, Sleepers. There is an artifact of...uh, great personal importance to myself. A relic, if you will, that bears the name of my Druidic family.

But a local has taken stewardship over this relic o' mine. They have offered to relinquish this relic into my custody — but! For a price. Namely, this list of assorted items that I'm attaching at the end of my message.

[With a quiet "this one, right here", he literally places a piece of paper over the camera. "Too close?" Vyng pulls the paper back. He holds it there for awhile. If anybody looks, they can make out the following list:]



DONATIONS NEEDED, PLEASE & THANK YOU

• Virgin blood spilled beneath moonlight


• Sweat from a shop owner


• Nail clippings of a swordsman


• A braided lock of hair passed between enemies


• Tears of a child


• Pthumerian bone


• True love's kiss


• Appendix from a useless person (?????)


• Fur, feather, or scale from a gentle Beast (that was not slain)

[From behind the paper, Vyng asks:]

How long do I have to keep holding this?

[. . . ]

Is this good? I think it's good.

[Eventually, though, a digital copy is included at the tail of this message, with a tiny handwritten note at the bottom:]

That seems like it could cause a deal of trouble in the henhouse, even if she is gentle. Perhaps it would be best if you brought her to the Sanctuary, and we might see what we can do.

She's not a capital B, Beast. She just acts like one a lot of the time.

She's perfectly normal and not actually super helpful here.

Yes, I think it has a to be a Beast, and not only a creature. Otherwise nobody would think about whether or not it has to be slain.

The blood hounds are gentle enough Beasts, though, and I can give him some fur off Knight's tail without troubling Knight overmuch, I think.

That's a good point- I wasn't really thinking about it like that. But then again- the monsters back where I'm from didn't have the capability of being gentle.

Oh! That's a good idea. Maybe if his toes need some trimming I could help out with that too.

I'd still take a feather, if you have one to spare. Maybe not for repossessing long-lost family heirlooms. But I could still use it as a spear decoration.

He may be a Knight, but he's no swordsman, and I don't think he'd like us blunting the blades he does have. Gucci likes to be brushed, though, I think she might enjoy a...pedicure? Like they have in the salons?

[sansa has seen that sort of thing living and working in cellar door, though admittedly not so much for dogs.]
