[It's her first time on the network. She has been, to put it mildly, avoiding this moment. The woman on the screen certainly looks better than she had in Deerington. Better rested, more attuned with herself. Those that know her well may have talked to her about this, or seen it in the way she moves. Instead of running about trying to catch up, instead of being dragged along by events - this is what the Avatar is, and who Avatar Korra is, specifically: ready, confident, and radiating inner strength.]

[The other part, of course, is hidden away, as it always is - she knows, now, just how far her powers extend...and in a world that runs on blood, is working to keep the knowledge of bloodbending - and her ability to do it - strictly secret. Such an ability has the potential to be...well, an ultimate weapon, in her conception. But the scope pales to her view of it as a violation, and she - having been bloodbent herself - knows the agony that comes with it.]

[So, she keeps that hidden. And the normalcy can be layered over top until it is pushed down and, hopefully, forgotten. Though...arrangements have to be made.]

Well, hello everyone!

[She waves, with a gentle smile.]

So I made it over, bit late getting on here. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Korra and...well, I'm here to help. We'll see what this place throws at us, but if you ever need support, please let me know.

[Then there is a shuffling sound down by her feet, and a muffled sort of noise.]

Oh, right. To those who do know me - I finally figured out the omen thing.

[She bends down out of sight, before coming back up...and holding her tiny omen:]

So this is a turtle-duck. They're pretty common where I'm from. Her name is Toph. She's got a hard shell, is probably sweet underneath, and just sort of does what she wants. Kind of like her namesake. But what really put the naming over the top was just finding her eating some bread, and that's how I knew she existed. It also explains where various other bits of food have been going. I thought it was mice.

[The turtle-duck quacks at the camera.]

Anyways, that's about it. To the friends I haven't seen yet, I look forward to seeing you. To everyone else, greetings and I hope this place is better than the last one.

So you know how we were talking the other night. I've...been thinking. And I need a favour from you. It's not an easy one, either. But I've been doing a lot of thinking and you're the only person I trust with it.

[And for a long moment, as she slides off Naga and plain forgets to take her foot out of saddle, she just stares at that. Slowly, she waves back.]

Hello, I can...I can see that.

[Snow White shushed everyone as she came over.]

Oh my goodness! Your friend is even more lovely in person! Now now, don't be shy! Little ol' me doesn't bite! [She giggled as she came up to Korra.] You made it without any trouble, I hope!

[Naga tilts her head, huffing in slight confusion. A person just smelling right is an unusual thing indeed. Korra nods as Naga sniffs at Snow White a little bit.]

You seem to have a bit of a knack with animals.

[She looked over to her horde of animal friends and giggled.]

I'm just very fond of animals, and they of me! They were my very first and only friends while growing up.

[Well. That's enough to earn a smile, one of her hands going to her hip.]

Hey, that's how I met Naga. We've been together since I was six!

[Naga snuffles and Korra turns, moving to put her arms around Naga's thick, furry neck.]

Best friend a girl could ever have.

Oh that's simply wonderful! And I'm quite sure! She looks like a wonderful friend. I'm so glad I get to meet the both of you!

[She almost squints for a second. This...couldn't be an act, right?]

Right! Umm...

[Belatedly, she remembers extending a hand is traditional at this juncture.]

[Nope, she is 100% actually like this.]

Oh! Yes! [She reached out and took Korra's hand, her grip delicate and gentle but warm.]

I'm not used to greeting people like this. Usually, ladies are to curtsey where I am from.

[She's getting that, though it's hard to believe. And she points at her leggings.]

Ah, that'd be the difference. Haven't worn a skirt in...ever? Almost ever.

Well, we have something in common! I've never worn pants!

[That brings out a grin.]

Yeah, I guess so - but go ahead, get to know Naga...trust me, she loves the attention.

[Snow White doesn't need to be told twice, she immediately wraps her arms around Naga in a hug.

SO SOFT!]

[Naga is more than happy with this - Snow White is...well, she fits in the instincts, rather nicely. There is a happy sound and her massive tail starts to wag eagerly.]

You really are just so adorable! [Snow White has never once met a creature she's found to be ferocious, even if that was their whole existence of being.]

And what soft fur you have! You must be very well-loved, hmm? Yes, it's very easy to see!

[That absolutely gets the best sort of reaction. She gives Snow White a huge lick which, with her tongue, can be extensive. For her part, Korra laughs.]

I think you've made yourself a friend for life.

[Snow White giggles, absolutely giddy at the kiss from Naga as she strokes her head.]

Oh, I'm so glad! I hope we can be friends as well! I've only been able to make friends since leaving home!

[She tilts her head at that.]

People friends, or...?

Well, the dwarfs are people, just magical people. But I suppose I should say people my age! The dwarfs are several decades older than I am.

[The more she hears, the less overall sense this makes. But then again, she's in Trench, isn't she?

Oh, magical people - I've met those.

[Oh, yeah, because her world is also strange and absurd.]

I wouldn't be surprised, they're everywhere, after all! But now I've gotten to know and meet people. I think people are so wonderful, don't you?

[That can't help but bring forth a grin.]

Yeah. They often...they really are sometimes.

You know, you and Naga simply must visit me in Crenshaw in my home. It's my very own house of my own, and I would love to have my friends visit me. And since we're friends, I hope you'll agree.

Oh! But I will understand if you can't. I know this invitation is out of the blue, but I was just so excited, I had to give it to both of you.

[Well how is she supposed to say no to that.]

Well, sure! I mean, yeah!

Oh! Wonderful! What do you like to eat! I'll try my best to make your favorite dish! Or as close to it as I can!

[She rubs the back of her neck.]

Well, I'm...pretty open to food? I mean, a lot of my favorites are hard to come by around here.

Oh! But one can never go wrong with noodles in a good broth.

[Points with fingers on that one.]
