I hate to ask this kind of question, but due to the nature of Trench I don't think anyone can really blame me.

What are our weapon options here? Where do I go or who do I need to speak with? Or is this more of a "figure it out for yourself" kind of situation?

Figure I'd check before I make any assumptions.

Can't rely on this bear forever that's been following me around.

Oh, I don't doubt that. Plus side: no taxes. Got to look at the silver lining, right?

Well, I can't argue with any of that. I'm glad you're so well equipped, Sharon. You're certainly more prepared than I am. Once I get my own equipment I am absolutely going to give it back though.

If you say that's a silver lining, I'll take your word for it. Never had to deal with taxes before. [ taxes weren't much of a worry when you're on the run from a cult (while thinking you're running from the cops). ]

I've had a lot of time to prepare. Just make sure to take care of it, okay? It was my dad's. He taught me to shoot with it. [ there's a reason she's willing to let him use it, though. ]

Come on, Harry, do I seem like the type of girl to just let people borrow something important to me without being certain?

I told you about it because I want you to know that it's important to me and I trust you with it. If it were my dad in your place and your daughter in mine, I'd want her to do the same thing, you know? [ she wants to do what she can to help him here, to protect him. he's not her dad but he's a version of Alessa's dad and that means something to her. ]

I suggest hitting up the shooting range when you can just to get a good feel for the sight and if you ever need any extra ammunition, just call me. I know a few people and can get it for cheap.
