[Appearing on screen is one Dr. Jezebel Disraeli, who looks thoroughly irritated. He also looks mildly disheveled and sickly, somehow appearing even thinner than his normal lanky appearance. Behind him, a large dog paces and whines, glancing at his owner all the while.]

So. I surely can't be the only person in this damned place who is completely unable to eat. Or eat food, rather.

If it's not the whole town, then I assume it is those who share my blood type, since that seems to determine everything around here. Vileblood, I believe I am called.

In any event: I believe I have stumbled upon a solution for those who might be afflicted.

[With pained grimace of a smile, he holds up a set of vials in his palm.]

Arsenic. Cyanide. Strychnine. All of which are deadly poisons, and all of which seem to be the only thing I can eat without wanting to promptly pass out on the spot. I imagine anyone else afflicted will be the same, since this does seem to be the sort of sick joke we would be afflicted with.

So, if anyone is in need of a poison or two, I suppose I can assist. I have a decent supply.

Before anyone asks: yes, I do have a lot of poisons.

Yes, I study poisons and made some of them myself.

No, I have not poisoned anyone in the town.

Although, believe me, I've been tempted.

I've taken some myself. After I did, I felt better and more fed.

(an impatient huff,) Yeah, I got that, but why did you take poison in the first place?

I'm not suicidal, if that's what you're asking. ...well, not in the sense that I think you mean, despite my drinking poison.

It was a practical choice. Death is temporary here, I couldn't eat or drink anything, and death by poison is much faster than starvation.

Not at all. It's rare that having such a large collection of poisons turns out to be useful. And I imagine I am not the only one experiencing such a delightful turn.

[She isn't even going to address the whole 'making poisons' thing. That's something she prefers to keep to herself.]

[Luca is laying down on his bed, holding his omni up in one hand, a half eaten loaf of bread in the other. His pupils are completely dilated and he's grinning.]

Loopy is a funny word. Anyway, I can eat food just fine. See?

[He tries to tear off another piece of bread to demonstrate that he can eat, but trying to do so takes more coordination than he currently has, and he ends up dropping his omni. Right on his face.]

Ow!

[The omni tumbles away from his face and ends up facing a wall.]

I'm fine!

[If Wesker looks like he hasn't eaten in three days... it's because he hasn't, and with his high metabolism, it's starting to affect his appearance as well as his demeanor.]

For me, eating anything that was growing from the ground, be it plant or edible fungus, makes me tipsy. Which has a fifty percent chance of inspiring me to garrulousness or more choler than usual. The latter ...may have resulted in an altercation which I regret.

That seems like a pain in the ass. You should try growing some poison plants or something - a little more sustainable.

No, I very much doubt I am invulnerable to such poisons, at the very least not because I am used to them. I do not ingest them usually, and I always wear gloves while handling them.

I can't guarantee it is the same for everyone. It just seems to be what would make the most logical sense.

Oh, I very much plan to do that very thing. Alas, since I have only just arrived, I don't have much of a garden quite yet.

That it does. You are affected as well, then? It does seem to be a decent number of people being affected.

Mm, that is a very interesting question. Truthfully, I am not sure -- all of these are poisons that are designed to be fatal. I have not tried my hand at something less deadly yet.

I assume it must be. I feel fine -- truthfully, I feel better than before my little discovery. Normally, poison of this kind would be enough to drop a person dead on the ground, but I have noticed no adverse effects.

Why thank you. It is always lovely to meet someone who appreciates the value in a good stash of poison. It does seem to have worked out fantastically in this instance.

[The voice on the end sounds both fascinated and staticky,] Now, how does that work. Only one of those even comes from something like food. Can your blood really do that?

[A pause.] Do you sell your poisons?

Hey, sometimes someone just has to die a horrible death.
You won't hear me judging folks for the methods that they use in the end.
