[mike reads this and finds himself laughing - flaming tools conjures up images of zealots on fire (this after a discussion he already had with robby) how about this for a flaming tool - though he's not going to clog up the pipeline with his dumb (but still somewhat serious) commentary/line of thought when he has nothing to offer. what he will do is write a little about it. the irony that he's also been a flaming tool (literally? metaphorically? once or twice.) isn't lost.]

I could definitely put something like that together. But you there is one thing consider that I had to learn the hard way when I tried it.

Melting the snow isn't quite enough. It's just going to refreeze into ice and be a bigger problem down the road.

So you'd need like a shovel with like a shop vac built in.

You are correct. However, if we can use the drains to get rid of most of it, we can shop vac the rest.

If you'd rather build a shop vac, I'll try it. I only have coldbloodstones readily available.

Minor problem with using the drains, boss: we don't know their maximum capacity. I think everyone would like to avoid seeing what happens when the sewers back up.

It might be less risky to concentrate the snow in large berms in out of the way areas, where they can freeze up without blocking traffic. We could even melt them and allow them to run off gradually that way without risking overloading the sewer.

They flooded in August. I don't have exact numbers, but we have some idea. The snow's all melting down to it anyway. Spread out across time, only clearing snow as needed, spreads it out.

We now have a phoenix on the job.

I have a bird that can naturally produce fire that could help clear some of the snow away. If enough fire is applied, it could completely dry up the liquid so that it won't become icy after.

It might be a very basic question for all I know. I never really considered it before.

But are the powers within the Coldblood stones linked to the powers of the person the blood was taken from? I seem to be able to only use blood magic related to ice, so it would probably be tough to make something that functions like a flamethrower from my blood, right?

Bloodstones are tied both to the person and the blood effects. For example, bullets made from my blood taken in October not only have Coldblood effects from my abilities but also make the target drowsy.

Yes, it would be harder. Not necessarily impossible. It also depends on the skill of those building with them.

You could, possibly, build a shovel that pierced snow like ice, froze what it lifted to keep it on the shovel, and cleared snow more efficiently that way. The artist's creativity is as important as the source of bloodstones.

Sounds like you have got a pretty creative mind yourself. [ To come up with an idea like that so easily.. ] Though the usage of tools like that might be a little limited, depending on how long the heavy snowfall lasts in this place. I haven't been here in winter before to really know.

Eh, it would have been useful against zealots. Shovel them, freeze them, set them aside. Same importance on creativity. Our minds and practice make our limits. It's what you do with Miyagi-do. Think about all you do with only the human body. It's remarkable.
