Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and I want to do something really special for Snow now that we're together. Something beyond the usual flowers and chocolates and cards, although she'll get all three from me.

But of course this depends on whatever we're being put through this month. I'd still like to find some way to make it special. [and her expression turns stern] And if The Doorway chooses to do something truly awful to us, I'll never forgive them!

I am! [Rose smiles, certain she must look more than a little lovesick, but completely okay with it] And she is. I...don't know how much you know of her past. But to be so devoted to kindness and generosity of spirit, she's truly extraordinary. I wasn't...looking for love when I arrived, but it has a way of sneaking up on a person, doesn't it?

I've only recently met her, she's helping bake for a blood donation drive Sanctuary is throwing. [he made a dry joke about it and snow immediately wanted to help. he's still reeling about it.]

That is the impression I got, yes. I admit I meant it as a joke when first suggested but she took to it immediately.

I am. [easy agreement to that statement. who would have thought?] I admit it felt like a large step to take so early, but it felt right. There's logic to it of course, bonds are great deterrents for beasthood and corruption, but... eh, sometimes it is just a matter of the heart.
