Manabu sighs, squatting back down to pick up the supply crate and heft it back up.]

( jinx drops the act and slumps her shoulders -- eyes narrowing with a small pout to follow. )

Sheesh, you really need to learn to lighten up. And it's that kind of attitude will leave ya hangin' from all the hugs. People will look at you and go, "Ew. Don't hug THAT guy. He's waaaay too good for it".

[raising his voice as he carries the supplies into the back room:] That's good! I don't want random people hugging me!

( looking down at magnet (if he is still there, i forgot), she teases him just a bit with wiggling her boot in front of him. a "ha ha, you can't get me cause you're down there and i'm up here" sort of notion. )

Haa-? [he reappears, rolling a shoulder as he goes. Magnet hops up on two legs and tries bouncing to get up to her.] When's the last time you actually left something in exchange for stuff here?

( how adorable! she will then scoop up magnet into her arms to rub her nose against his nose. )

Magnet thinks I've exchanged plenty! Isn't that right, you cutie monster?

[Manabu scoffs, but it's good-humored, shaking his head at the sight of the dog just loving this chance to lick a nose, tail wagging.]

Okay, fair...he's a lot less noisy when you're busy giving him attention, and that counts for something.

What can I say? I'm natural when it comes to animals. I show up and they just run to me.

( she lifts up the dog over her head and then carefully sways him around -- making "whooshing" noises with her mouth. )

[he shakes his head and exhales a bit of a laugh, turning away from the sight of Air Bud and his gracious pilot so he can grab the broom and sweep up where he'd been working. he can't lie - the atmosphere is lighter with company, even chaotic Jinx's. he'll take this over solitude.]
