[Vira-Lorr was in the Luminarium, getting the last transfusions to deal with her little ... problem, thanks to Riteior. It was, as always, something of a process. But the fact that it was one of the attendants that she knew through Albert was what prompted this message. She knew that he kept to himself mostly, but given his tendency to remain in the background and out of the limelight, she did want to make sure that those who knew him would be aware in advance.]
For those who have not been made aware, and were receiving treatment from Dr Adrian Winters, formerly known as Albert Wesker, he has returned to the ocean. I know that he was of assistance to a few of us through the Luminarium, and one of my research partners. So, it seemed best to make sure that you were made aware.
I don't think that he would want a great deal of fuss made in his departure. He was a curious man in his way. But, all the same, I will miss his perspective.
To those who were at all concerned? I believe I have compiled his notes and mine on the Antidote experiments, and should be able to proceed with a refined mix next month. Also, are any of you members of the Blood Ministers? I find myself in need of a physician who I can trust and, while I appreciate the people of Trench, I still have some lingering paranoia.

With him gone, are there any non native doctors here in the Trench that you're aware of?
[He didn't have a need, not yet. Hopefully he wouldn't need to at all. But with Takashi's mission in mind, better safe than sorry.]

I'm always a little wary of sleepers, honestly. I'm sure I don't have to tell you all the reasons that might be. But noted regardless, thank you.
Ah, that's right. I do know Sakura, but in the context of scientific research. I wasn't aware she was also a doctor.
no subject
Well, she's medically trained, but I do not believe it is the same sort of formality of training that some worlds are skilled in. I do know that she's been offering her services with counseling. I haven't had to call on her healing skill.
no subject
I'll have to ask her about it sometime. If there's one thing I've learned its that there are plenty of valid forms of healing, though I find the scientific versions more comforting due to familiarity.
Hopefully we all stay lucky enough to not need any of their skills.

Her methods are inherently more mystical, I believe. Just so that you are aware, but I understand what you mean, even if I am more familiar with mystical healing.
Yes, hopefully... but better safe than sorry. Especially with my health issues

We're all victims of our own experiences. It's natural to be more comfortable with what we know and understand.
Oh? I wasn't aware you had health issues. Are they chronic?

It's my blood type. Acid is a type of poison, and I'm vileblooded. My poisonous blood takes on acidic properties, which can make me harder to treat depending.
no subject
Fascinating. I assume the acid is more akin to the kind of reaction diabetics face when they have too much sugar in their system as opposed to a more traditional corrosive acid? Apologies if it's intrusive, but I'd be interested in hearing what sort of acidic properties your blood carries. Both Takashi and I are warmbloods.
no subject
And you have a very good policy there, if you're teh cautious one.

Takashi and I balance each other very well. He's always willing to trust everyone, and I'm significantly more paranoid. He keeps me from becoming a complete curmudgeon.
no subject
He's a wonderful, protective and trusting soul. I definitely think you're quite the special pair together.
no subject
I'm very lucky to have had him this long.

The Antidote research was born from the knowledge that for some of us, emotional connection is not always easy, so having a tool to help with corruption in a pinch was a good idea.
And he's equally lucky.
no subject
Ah, so it's meant to address corruption rather than vileblood acid. I recall it being effective back in Deerington, though perhaps I'm imagining it? Either way, I wonder if there's any benefit to exploring counters to vileblood effect, at least temporarily. Better to have the answer and not need it than the other thing, should the worst come to it.
no subject
Exactly. And it was intensely effective in the nightmare. What I'm finding here is that it's not quite as effective, but it is still helpful. Once I finalize the results, it should be useful. I intend to give the recipe out, so people can produce their own.
no subject
How is your progress so far?
no subject
Human testing has been mixed, but that was to be expected. I believe the recipe is almost refined enough to present publicly.
(OOC: Planning to handle it next month.)
no subject
Mixed based on blood? Or other factors?
[OOC: Woohoo! :D]
no subject
Inconsistent, though not based on blood. If blood is involved, it's a "Like prefers like" situation. I think I'll prepare the recipe so people can make it with their own ink. That may be best. No compatibility issues.
no subject
"If blood is involved?" So it has applications beyond treating symptoms brought on by various blood typing?
