Need a few volunteers to help a project out
Gonna start blasting a pathway through the woods onto the next city
I have a compass to get us there but could always use others
Need some folks on hand to keep monsters out of the way if the blasts dont do it
Better for us to have something of a proper roadway especially since the lamps went on the fritz
And didnt stake down at first anyway
So lets at least make a path to follow so folks are less likely to get lost
Since that seems to be the thing lately
Roads gonna start out at the outpost first since thats a fair midway point and already accessible
After we get that path to riteior we can carve out the remaining from outpost back to the waystation
If youre in let me know we can meet up and start setting things in motion tomorrow or so

I'm happy to help with that. All I'll need to know is how much of it you want and where it goes. It'll be an exact road and as sturdy as the Trench will let me make it.

But you're bringing it all together. People with magical powers need to know the direction the road needs to be built in. Otherwise, we just put roads anywhere. I'd put one in the sky if no one told me not to.

But what if there is weird stuff waiting in the sky? Do we prefer weird things with wings or with feet planted firmly on the ground?

It's probably for the best.
If we make the road on the ground and do it perfectly, we can make one up for the sky.
Perhaps even one over water? Or is that too ambitious?

But itll be easier to know whats best once we get a better lay of the land outside of the city and the ocean
Theres a whole planet out there after all
And stars besides

Maybe if this road doesn't crack under a very heavy car, we could try building a road to the stars next. Maybe even to the moon.

We have railways designed for it
I helped protect them

I've never been to space, but I know people who have. I don't think they have railways up in space where I'm from.

When we need to update space roads, at least we know who to go to.

Haha well i dont know the logistics since im not an engineer
But i wont give up hope that theres a chance to link up with the railways already in place
We just gotta find a way to signal them
