Today is my twentieth birthday.

I've had more birthdays away from home than I've had at home. Two more, in fact. How does that work, I wonder.

Yeah, the only people who use the Galactic Standard calendar are the ones from my galaxy.

Jacen... he loves animals and jokes. I'm not sure which one more. We've always been lucky to have each other.

Really? Are there a lot of you from your galaxy? As far as I can tell, there are none from mine but my galaxy uses the standard Terran calendar. Because Terrans think they're the center of the universe. [she says with a playful eye-roll and grin]

Animals and jokes...two great things to love. They speak well of him. But...have you been alone here long?

A lot of us from all across time. I've met more dead grandparents in the last eight months than I know what to do with.

[Depending on how one is counting Obi Wan Kenobi he's kinda a grandpa too, after all]

My little brother is here but older than me... it's weird, but I'm lucky to have him. Just... Jacen is different.

Across time? That sounds exhausting. Especially given the dead grandparents. I only have my great-grandmother to deal with, she's a problem in and of herself. My sympathies.

Your little--I'm afraid I don't understand, thought I'd like to. If you may. But a twin is always different. Not that I know from experience, but one of my teammates, Luornu? There are three of her. Each distinct from the others.

It gets hard to keep track of everyone. I think the biggest difference is about half a century.

I have two brothers. My twin, and then another who's supposed to be a year and a half younger than me. But here hes already seventeen.

And way too tall.

[she can't imagine anything like that happening. as far as she knows, she's the only one from her world here. anyone who'd be coming here would likely be from the 21st century, not the 31st like her]

What's it like, having brothers? Though, having your supposed to be younger brother here and so much older has to be a bit of a mind scramble.

Yes. Everyone from her planet can split into three people, but not many have each body with its own distinctly different personality.
