Please excuse me.
I am aware this is an unorthodox question. But I am not in a position to research it myself.
Are there any habitable locations outside of Trench? Preferably those with minimal populations.
Thank you for your time.

If you're still trying to figure it out, I can talk with you about it. I've been here almost two years now. Purifying corruption and trying to save people who have become beasts... it's what I do.
[ A long pause. More dot dot dots. ]
I can try to help you, if you tell me about it.
For your best interest too.

And how precisely is it cured? I apologize for all the questions, but this is by far the most information I've been given so far.
[If it has to do with blood, then, well... does the blood on one's hands count? Old stains?]
You are being quite helpful. But more specific information would undoubtedly identify me.

There are lots of various ways. A lot of the hunters who get injured use blood transfusions under the care of the blood ministers for that... I don't really like the idea very much though, to be honest. There are various foods and items, creatures, or places that seem to reduce it though. Last year anyone with paleblood was able to make fruit into jams that would reduce corruption so people got together and made a lot... sometimes people are gifted with moon drops that can reverse even beasthood.
A friend of mine... he found some ancient lore about priests who used to create purifying tools and weapons out of those moon drops and managed to forge one himself, although it doesn't seem like an easy process and they're rare.
There was once a Sleeper who said she was a deity and... it's hard to believe, but I believe her. She planted several kinds of guardian trees that have continued to purify anything and anyone who rests under them. The salt lake, it also purifies corruption under the full moon, even if someone has become a beast. Even a creature like a dragon.
Some of us have powers from before that can help heal or remove corruption from the soul as well, or pull someone back from beasthood. Exorcists and healers. There don't seem to be many... but apparently some people can learn to use the power of their blood to help remove or reduce the corruption in someone too. A couple people have told me that.
There's a place I belong to too, called Sanctuary. It specializes in helping people with corruption, in saving those who have become beasts, and we try to collect as much as we can of something when we find out it has purifying properties. Some of the jam might taste really bad depending on who made it, but it can be what brings you back from losing yourself.
Anyone is welcome there, even if it's just to sit under the tree. They don't have to say why.
So it may seem like a lot, that it's so easy to start to become something twisted, but... There's a lot people can do to help themselves or help others that have become like that too.
I could just meet you somewhere too.
People don't need to worry around me like they would with most humans.

[If he were in a more logical state of mind, he could work this out.]
You're very knowledgeable about all of this. Have you been studying and working on this issue a long time?
[Small talk. Useless small talk, but it's a lot of information to process. A few little things that are good to know - it's too bad in his mind, there is no way to purify someone like him.]
So then, healers and palebloods are capable of removing this corruption, to a degree? Is that always true, or is it only under special circumstances?
Providing safety to those who may be falling to corruption, that is a noble goal. I'm sure the populace must be grateful for your efforts. If circumstances were to change... and you find yourself in need of healing, I would say I would volunteer. Unfortunately, I'm not certain that could happen.
[ dot dot dot intensifies ]
Thank you, but I doubt it would change anything.
My situation is
I have reason to believe it isn't this corruption.
[Yes it is, Hakkai. You're just being paranoid.]

I'm an exorcist. Exorcists save souls, and purify corruption from them.
I don't understand how people with blood powers are able to do it as well to be honest. Every time I've met someone who could it seems the power manifested a different way. But I've known people who were paleblood, warmblood, and darkblood who manifested some ability that let them reduce the corruption in others. I'd like to think maybe it's something that could be studied and learned.
[ The longest, most considerate pause. ]
Does that mean you're a healer?
Saying you'd help if the circumstances were different.

[The normal kind. Not the kind he hangs around with.]
I am a healer. Yes. Though if that helps identify me, I ask you not to reveal it.

Definitely not a priest. [ hahaha... ]
I won't though. Your secret is safe with me.
But what makes you think it isn't corruption?

Thank you for your discretion.
It is something that occurs in my world. Something for which there isn't a cure. Only prevention - which is not always successful.

... ]
Doesn't that mean that's even more reason not to be alone for it?

[Or maybe that's just Too Much Sanzo experience.]
No, unfortunately.
It means all the more reason to keep myself apart.
