Greetings,

First, my apologies for my lengthy absence the last month or so. Perhaps this only applies to those in a certain dojo, but, I felt it necessary to make the statement anyway. I hope to resume my duties there at some point in the future.

Secondly... thank you to any who assisted my companions on their arrivals. Especially to those who took the time to answer Gojyo's questions regarding Trench and its effects. Both he and Goku can be a bit rough around the edges, but I assure you, they are the dependable sorts, haha.

Lastly, ah. I seem to have been in something of a distracted state lately... and went on a baking binge. [Thanks June Paleblood effect.] Please do let me know if you have need of any of this... I would hate for it to go to waste.

[And there's a photo! Of so much bread... No, we're not going to talk about his last network post, it was anonymous, why would he talk about that? He's also not going to talk about being a Beast last month! Just bread! And bullying his friends!]

Yes. They certainly make things more lively. Goku tells me you've already met him as well.

[ Though it's a good thing. The more people Hakkai is surrounded with, the better. Especially since he must be closer to these friends from back home - maybe he'll actually let them in more. Let them help him. ]

He just looked like a kid left all by himself on the beach. [ And of course Daniel "Karate Dad" LaRusso can't just ignore something like that. He's too weak. Trench could lead him into a trap with that sort of thing so easily. ]

You're not wrong in that assumption. He does present very childish on occasion. I'm not sure exactly why, and it's probably not my place to say, but he's much older than he appears.

[He's over 500 years old. And remembers nothing from before that... so... Goku's age is anyone's guess.]

Last year, at this time, many Palebloods felt compelled to bake, and everything we made had powerful anti-corruptive properties. Have you noticed your bread to have any magical effects? All of your baking is very impressive; I'm not very good at yeast rises or lamination, still.

[but if it does have magical properties, she'll have to stop working on her couture projects, at least long enough to set some jam up to boil...]

But, no, unfortunately. It's just ordinary pastry. I have heard of the events of last year, though. A pity they aren't repeating themselves.

Thank you, I have had lessons. It's only that it takes a good deal of practice, and I don't have very much time for baking.

Perhaps you might like to teach lessons at the Wellness Center sometime, though; I know baking can be very comforting, and some people might like to learn how to do it.

[especially if they come from worlds with huge, wood-burning communal ovens, where baking is a highly specialized profession...]

Regardless, we could always use the bread, and at the Sanctuary in Crenshaw too; I don't know if we've spoken before on this net work but I am Sansa Stark of Winterfell, and I look after Lady Sakura's Wellness Center for the Sanctuary, with my friends. It's very good to meet you.

Ah, I understand. Normally, I'm not much for bread making, but something came over me. Perhaps it is indeed a paleblood effect.

I suppose that is an option. I was volunteering my time at the Dojo, but if they don't need as much assistance, perhaps I could look into it.

Even if I find I lack the time, I would be happy to offer the excess. Goku would probably enjoy the exercise in making a delivery.
