Okay, so: I probably should have asked this earlier, but I was hoping maybe this place wouldn't have the same share of monsters as Deerington did. Dumb optimism, I know, but a girl can dream.

Anyway: now that we've got ghosts and horsemen and shit floating around, I want to propose the idea of fight training. I did a little of that with F.E.A.R. back in Deerington, and I'm down to do it again here, too. I'm happy to train but I'm also just as happy to spar with anyone willing to go a round or two.

Mainly, I want to get a handle on this blood magic stuff, what its limitations are, how to use it to its full potential, how to not set my own apartment on fire, that kind of stuff. And, preferably, I'd like to learn it when I'm not about get flayed alive, so anyone who's interested, let me know.

I've been putting together a group of those who are interested, and who would also lend their services for rapid response in a way that F.E.A.R. never quite did. I've already begun procuring a small stock of weapons with a few other hunters as well.

It would also be a good way to organize training efforts.

But have you determined what kind of blood you have?

That sounds like a good idea. Are you working with Ruby? I know she'd mentioned something about a group like that.

I'm a Coldblood. Been using it for lighting up my crossbow bolts and things like that. It's pretty sweet.

Not officially, not yet. I've been allowing her time to get settled before approaching her. But it's not surprising, groups of Huntsmen and Huntresses are common where we're from. Teamwork is a valuable asset learned early on.

In that case, I should be able to help you, I'm a cold blood as well. And the powers are too off from the abilities that I had prior.

That makes sense. You're from the same world as her, then? It does definitely seem like a lot of people from that side of things are good about taking charge and looking after everyone.

What kinds of trainings you looking for? I'm okay with hand to hand. Not really big on guns but knives and daggers and the like I'm okay with.

Hand to hand I can do. I also do a lot of work with crossbows -- they're kind of my thing. Not sure how okay you'd be with that, but I can leave it out if you'd prefer.
