Hello everyone! Ladies and Gentlemen and.. people who aren't either but.. are other things I guess- ANYWAY! I'm Bolin, you might know me, I was in Deerington for a little while before we made the journey here. Mako's brother, earthbender, at your service.

[Bright! Excited! He's got so much to say and it's all great!! Bolin is sitting in a booth in The Raccoon Room, it's all very fancy and newly opened as you might remember from the big party on Halloween. Heck, you might have seen him there performing tricks with his omen Pabu the fire ferret, who is currently draped around the back of Bolin's neck like a scarf, only mildly interested in what's happening but squeaks every time Bolin gesticulates particularly big.]

Firstly, I wanted to say thank you to everyone who came to the Raccoon Room's opening night, it was great and I know it meant the world to Mako and Wu. And hey, if you had fun you should come back which is what brings me to my next point!

We're gonna do a musical.

[Jazz handssssssss! His eyes are very bright. Is this a good thing? Should you be worried? Remains to be seen.]

Wu has asked me to direct it, with music by Ryan from Chicken Choice Judy aand I know what you're thinking: Oh- Bolin [In falsetto, because that's how you all sound and you know it.] but a musical we don't know-

Wrong-o, it is going to be amazing and you're all going to love it. So good news, we're casting!

There's going to be auditions.. and costumes and music! And sets! It's going to be like a live action mover with songs, I can't actually think of anything better.

It sounds a little like a less

version of the tale of Frankenstein and his monster.

I imagine it will be quite enjoyable.

What sort of music can one expect? Is it a more classical score, or something modern like jazz?

I have no idea who Frankenstein is but sure. Sounds similar.

Music wise... More like . Rock and roll? I think that's what it's called. Some saucy, jazzy numbers.

It is an older story, I think. About a medical student who crafted a person out of body parts;

and brought him to life.

The appearance of his creation horrified him, but the being was intelligent, made monstrous by rejection, neglect, and abuse from his creator and society.

It is a rather tragic tale, I suppose.


I am unfamiliar with 'rock and roll'. Is it music made from rolling rocks together...?

Or is there some nuance I am missing?

Oh uuh.. no, it's hard to explain. It's way after my time from what I understand. It's pretty good, though.

Music of any sort is rather difficult to explain, yes. Though if you have heard it before...

Oh man, I love that I'm the one that gets to tell you this, yes! Yes, there is so much music on our Omnis. This thing we're talking on? It's got all kinds of information from all of our worlds. And all kinds of media. Movers, music, you name it. It's like a collective library of everything cool from everyone's worlds.

It would seem I have only brushed the surface of this device. I suppose it is called an omni for a reason.

How does one access such archives?

Oh, it's super easy. Once we hang up you just go back to the main menu and then you can access and search everything from there. You'll figure it out in no time.

Ah - I think that is... yes. I see now.

[ There is a moment of silence that can probably be construed as the not-so-tech-savvy Medicine Seller messing with his Omni. And then there is the sound of the playlist starting. After about three songs, he weighs in. ]

It is very melodic, with a strong rhythm. I think recognize some of the instruments, but others sound quite alien to me.

I do like it, however. Thank you for sharing this with me.

A lot of people around here are from waaay in the future from me.. from other timelines and other worlds.. wow that sounds so crazy. so I'm still playing catch up.

Likewise; even with the translator I find there are a great many terms and concepts that are unfamiliar. It seems I am about a century behind many of the other sleepers.

Are you also from Earth then?

Yeah, man that is a mood. I think I'm about the same.

And uuuuh. Yes? But I think most people call their world Earth and my world sounds totally different from most people's. Do you know what an airbender is? Earthbender? The Avatar?
