4. If you end up encountering any of those weird cultist people. I'm going to teach you my Uncle Qrow's method of escaping an encounter like this. It might not prevent you from getting kidnapped but it'll help you fight them off with weird psych out Mistral violence.

Just chew up one of these mushrooms that I found that makes you foam at the mouth—it'll make them think you have rabies and throw them off their rhythm. Then you grab a telephone book and beat them on the torso with it. Because as any cop will tell you, phonebooks don't leave bruises.

[ Mako himself can be found in various safehouses throughout the day with mask on, stacking up supplies of incense and food and also fighting off... just so many mushrooms. He can be caught setting Walking Terrors on fire to keep them and their awful spores away, and one point after dusk he can be found carefully burning away the clinging tentacles of a few floaters, grumbling to himself.

Pay no mind to the ashy gray tinge to his skin. It's definitely NOT important. ]

I can't say I know what a phone book specifically is, but this all reads like sound and expert advice.

I mean I know a librarian who would personally electrocute anyone who tried that with her books if she found out, but more out of concern for the books than any potential bruises that would or would not be left.

What's a phonebook?

It was a big book they used in the dream to find numbers to contact people outside of the fluids. They're basically obsolete in my world. As you can store or look up numbers on things like the fluids or omni's.

They were still good to knock people around with though. Or to find a number for a pizza place.
