Nope. Nobody was staking out the traps, at least not that I could see. It doesn't rule out the possibility.

They probably meant to just come back later. So, they weren't going after anything particularly powerful that could just escape... Someone must be hunting large game, but doesn't want or can't shoot...

A pitfall doesn't usually kill large game, it just makes them suffer, the fall part of the trap didn't look like it was designed to kill on contact. So, there's that. I don't know if that's good or bad news.

No footprints either, but that doesn't mean much lots of leaves still on the ground and half this place knows magic so there's no telling.

Then the prey won't spoil by the time they come to pick it up. I wouldn't rule the Zealots out.

I'm not sure if the actual stuff is available here but a carabiner and paracord are some tools used for climbing. I might be able to help you figure out the next best thing if you can't find it for yourself.

I teach some light survival training at the school here if you're interested. I may not be able to give you much, but if you're looking for the how and the why it's there.

God, the last time I took any kind of classes, it was for yoga back home. Never thought I'd go from the Lotus Pose to Survival 101.

You never know, maybe someone'll start up some yoga classes around here.

What I'd really kill for is a Starbucks.

Starbucks is overrated. If I want burnt tasting coffee I'm not paying that much for it.

I like DDs better.

And I think you should start up yoga if you think it'll help people. There are all kinds here, you'll wind up with a class.

I'm definitely no expert, but maybe I could show some basics sometime. It's good for relaxing, and strength. Both would come in handy in this hellhole.

Just peppermint oil and chocolate, right? Might be doable here. Maybe someone should consider opening a coffee shop with some kind of alternative to the bean.

Coffee is coffee for me, black or flavored. Now I have to get energy from endorphins and whatever magic potion is getting sold.

If anyone is walking around in a monster-infested area sans weapons then we should probably let nature take its course.

Probably, but there are kids and newbies and if being stupid was a death sentence a lot of people wouldn't have lived to call this lovely place home.

If you come across any others please send me the coordinates. I have been attempting to disable them as well, but they seem to be appearing faster than we can catch during patrol.

Didn't mark the others, for the record. Just took the time to unassemble them.

Marking feels a whole lot easier. Will do.

By marking them we can observe and patrol the area and hopefully catch whoever is setting them.

You should do the same if you're out and you find any. We can regroup if anything turns up.

I'll be sure to do the same and send any findings out to the other hunters.

It might be best to begin patrolling in pairs though as well.

I don't know who else patrols. I don't really run in a huge social circle.

So, unless you're inviting yourself to come on patrols with me I don't know what to tell you about choreographing the group outing.

If you don't have a partner I will be willing to patrol with you yes. But I've been working on trying to organize the hunters as well, at least those that are dreamers.

If you've got the head for organizing I'll leave that to you. I definitely wouldn't mind the company. Two makes a team.
