Hey guys!

Your resident aspiring witch here just saying that I'm glad to see a lot of you who came back, and a big hello to those who I'm just seeing now! My name's Luz Noceda, and for right now I'm living in a pretty nifty house with some of the best guys you'll ever meet!

I also know that we're all kind of living pretty far from each other and we're only just getting used to where we live, but now we all live in fairly different places. So I figure why don't we take this time to give a quick rundown of the type of place we're living in and what you can expect to see!

Our house is located in Cassandra, which seems to be a little rich in magic. The disciples here are really into their faiths, and I think that kinda lends to strange things walking around the street. Kinda helps to have your omen around, I've learned. My wolf Tempest keeps most mean looking monsters away, so I'm usually pretty safe, but they also sell lots of incense around here too. I think its to help keep the beasts I keep hearing about away, and to ward off corruption. I'd say if you're going to Cassandra with a mind to focus on magic, you've some to the right place. As Fern's observed though? Not the greatest place to grow things.

But that's just one part of Trench! What does your city have to offer?

Well, I think these Omnis have movies on them at least? But great, I have faith in you.

We've gotta find a way to project them on a screen, for the ultimate entertainment!

Really? Is "science" not able to pull it off completely?

No one is jumping off a cliff! Anyway, even if I did jump off a cliff (which I wouldn't)! I have two options to prevent something bad happening to me!

Yeah! Like the drive-in!! I never went but I remember hearing about it.

[WOW RUDE!!! He lets out a soft unamused tongue-click.]

Science always has room for improvement, it never stops where it is.

[Here Luz has a smug look].

Is that right? Guess you better get cracking so its perfect, right?

[Since he was talking about tempting fate and all of that].

Gotcha. No jumping off cliffs.

If I remember rightly the monsters in the movie came to life and attacked people because of course, they did.

[Deerington always gotta Deerington.]

Har har, you're hilarious.

It wouldn't be a fun movie if they didn't! Man, that'll be great on a big screen too!

Yes, yes, thank you very much, I try.

No no, Luz, I mean literally. They burst out of the screen and attacked people watching the movie.

Wait, that actually happened?!

I don;t know how cool I'd be with that! You're just watching a movie and then monsters just come charging out! What if you were watching Godilla, or King Kong?

That actually happened. I think people were watching a film with zombies in it? And they came out of the screen. I remember hearing about it. Really brings a whole new meaning to the idea of feeling a part of the action.

Were they the fast moving zombies or the slow moving ones? There IS a difference.

That would actually be pretty thrilling if it weren't for the whole dying or turning into a zombie yourself part.

I...did not think to ask. But yeaaaah, I guess it might be an enjoyable movie without the...actual threat to existence added in?

I'd really like to say its very unlikely that would happen again.

I would super like to say that with total conviction.

And yet, here we are, knowing there's always a small percentage of a chance it'll, in fact, happen.

Sadly, yes. Maybe it's not even that small a percentage.
