[Snow White, per the norm, is surrounded by animals who seem to be organizing things for Snow. Snow has a bright red something draped across her lap, it is very clearly fabric but what it looks like otherwise is unclear.

Why hello there! Oh my goodness! I really must thank Madam Generosity for such a lovely gown! I've never felt more like a princess! And it's my favorite color! I wonder how she even knew!

Did anyone else receive a gift from her? No wonder her name is Madam Generosity! She's so wonderfully kind! It puts everyone in a better state of mind.

Actually! If I may have just a moment of your time, might you be able to answer a question of mine?

Does anyone else have people constantly dropping off things on their doorstep or lingering just outside your home?

I don't mean for Christmas time, rather outside of that? I don't really mind, and, truly, no one has been unkind!

I even got something on my birthday and no one has ever given me a birthday present before! Or at least, I think it was a birthday present. [Snow turns to her birds who seem to SHRUG. They don't know either.]

People keep leaving me all sorts of things on my doorstep.

It's becoming a bit difficult to keep up with sending thank you gifts in return!

Is anyone else experiencing this? Should I be concerned?

How else would they know about your birthday or where to leave the gifts?

Or do you know them?

[Maybe Luz jumped the gun there, but that didn't mean Snow should be guilted into accepting presents, right]?

I'm still trying to figure that one out as well. I didn't tell anyone my birthday last month.

And that's what's so weird. Either that person has been spying on you a LOT, or its one of those supernatural forces that just happen to know.

Wish I knew more about how THAT works. After that month with the Blood Zealots, I don't like the idea of anyone trying to creep up on you.

Luz, dear, why do you keep saying one person? I said it was many. That's the problem. If it were just one person, I could just speak to them about stopping with all the gifts.

That might be a little harder then. Is it some kind of network of people?!

What does beef have to do with anything? Luz, you're not making any sense.

[Oh. Right, right. That was not a word she would know. Silly Luz].

That's a modern word. It really means you hide out somewhere to find out information about someone you're trying to catch in the act.

You mean, like spying? Oh goodness, no, I couldn't!

No? You don't want to find out what they're all about and stuff? How they're getting all their information on you?

[It just seemed to be a little scary, and after those woodland zombie guys attacked Snow, Luz was hoping she didn't have to deal with something that creepy anytime soon].

[Snow White doesn't know how to explain that she's been spied on and watched over her entire life in the worst way. She's used to people knowing things about her when she never told anyone. If she did a single thing that her stepmother didn't agree to, the queen somehow found out, even when Snow was sure she was alone, people were always punished even when they thought they were being clever and sneaky in helping her. Snow can't stomach the idea of doing the same.

I said no, Luz. You need to be better about listening to people.

[Luz was not used to someone her age telling her off in quite this manner. Usually they said it in a tone that clearly told Luz to back off, and that did the trick. This way felt like a reprimand from an adult, which was somehow worse].

I don't want anything bad happening to you, that's all. People who keeps tabs on you can sometimes get obsessive. In my world, some of the worst crimes are crimes of passion.

[Snow White doesn't really know how to BE a teenager, not just because she's from the 1500s and she's already an adult by those standards, able to marry and have children, but she also never had a childhood. She tries to emulate a mother she never had but always wanted. And she's being pressed over something that DOES worry her, but that she doesn't see how spying in return would fix. If anything, spying BACK just feels like it would escalate things, not fix them.]

Luz, thank you, but do I know what it's like to be obsessed over. [To the point of death.] And I know that "spying back" would not have fixed my problem then, and it isn't going to fix it now.

I just meant finding out who they are, and what they're up to. Maybe its nothing bad! They are gifts, after all. I was just thinking about staying on the side of caution.

In my world, people who start out doing stuff like this can take their behavior to another level that's unhealthy. With what you told me about that queen, I wouldn't want someone trying to repeat that all over again.

[As someone who's aware of Snow White lore, Luz knows that some people can take advantage of her kindness, and she didn't want that for Snow if she could help it].
