[ Even as the image can be seen, it seems like there's still a moment of set up, tiny hands fiddling with the Omni like they're trying to get the perfect shot.. But then there are two faces visible. Two faces that are looking decidedly younger than usually - it's Ange and Ruby, looking like they definitely can't be much older than six years old.

And looking very excited. ]

Um, so, so..! We heard that there's some sort of reaaally scary snake monster out there! So.. we thought we'd help out everyone and get rid of it! Because Ruby.. She's a really, reaaally cool huntress! [ Ange may be Will-Smith-esque posing at Ruby for emphasis right as she says that. ]

[Ruby just stares at the camera briefly until she notices Ange's hands pointing her way. She blinks and quickly starts to flex her twiggy arms to the camera.]

Yeah! We're super strong and awesome and we've got tons of weapons! [Ruby gestures to a sack of potato's and a large collection of sticks that they've gathered up.]

That snack is going to be- a- -uh- a, a piece of snack!

[ While Ruby is saying that last part, it seems that Ange has already moved over to grab one of the sticks for a demonstration. As she's running back towards where Ruby and the Omni are, she's waving the stick wildly. ]

We'll get it just like thi--

[ Ange manages to smack the stick right against the device, turning the view sideways before it just cuts out entirely.

Oops. ]

I can totally confuse this snakey thing and we can beat it up!

Exactly! You two should tell me where you're hunting!
We can totally fight the monster again, me and my friend with you two!
Four against one isn't even fair!

[ Well, Ange doesn't know this other girl.. but she doesn't seem bad either. So it can't hurt to team up with her and her other friend, right? ]

Well, we're in our yard right now.. But we haven't seen the snake around here.

[ Because clearly that's the first place to look, right. ]

Maybe we'll have to go look on the street..!

Yeah! In the front yard! We're in the place with all the clocks. The house is REEEEEEAAAAAALLY big so you can't miss it!

We'll go out front and wait for you there! Don't take too long or we'll start looking!

Oh, I think I know where that house is!
That's not far from my Partment! I can meet you guys there!

[Neopolitan was off like a darting shot, making her way out to try and huntdown the location. On the upside? She'd made sure that her apartment really was within the same general neighborhood in Gaze, so it wouldn't be that hard to find the two of them.

Giggling silently, she was waving as the brunette ran over, seemingly alone.]

[ Hey, look! It's the kid they've been waiting for.

Or.. well, maybe not 'waiting' as much as Ange and Ruby have gotten around to testing out some of their Combat Sticks, though Ange stops the moment she notices the girl approaching them.

.. by herself though. Ange blinks, curiously tilting her head a little. ]

Oh.. did you come without your friend?

[threelayers]

[She looked around and then put her hands on her hips in balled up fists, huffing as she did. She would have called out, but that wasn't in the cards right now. She gestured right behind her before taking out her omni and typing on it, sending an image of the text up.]

Neo was right there.
She likes to hide a lot of times, because she thinks it's funny.
And don't worry, she's not m'omen.

[Almost as if summoned, a black cat meowed from behind a tree, larger than normal with glowing yellow eyes and smoke trailing behind it. It looked the spitting image of the Authority of old, not that Neo remembered that right now.]

[Ruby looks at the text then back over to the other girl.]

So she's like super sneaky all the time?

Like a ninja?

That's kind of cool.

[ Usually this is the exact thing that would make at least fifteen different alarm bells start ringing in Ange's head.

But what Ruby's saying manages to smooth over the situation a little bit before Ange can say anything. Sure, this girl's friend suddenly running away when she's about to be introduced is a little weird, but if she's a ninja then that would make sense..

So Ange slowly nods. ]

But does that mean she'll be there when we need her while fighting the monster..? She wouldn't abandon a friend in that kinda situation, right? [ Because otherwise she would be a very, very bad friend! ]

Oh she will totally be there.
She'd never actually leave me high and dry unless my parents are involved.
She likes to hide from them pretty much all the time.

[She pouted as she said that, shaking her head. That had been oh so annoying. But in a fight? She'd be there. she was sure of that.]

[littlelikeroses]

[The implications that Neo might bail on them in a fight completely fly over Ruby's head thankfully.]

I don't blame her. Adults are lame and stinky.

But as long as we can count on the both of you I think we'll take down this snakey no problem.

[Exactly. this girl got it. She nodded vigorously, pumping her fist in such a way as to show that she definitely thought they had this covered. She made her way over to the others, ready to do battle.

With any luck, the snake would never find these three idiots and her imaginary friend, because the cat currently purring at Vanille's feet was the best fighter among them.]
