Good afternoon,

I’m Winter Schnee and I’m in need of assistance. This is not a D.A.R.T. matter or related to public safety, it’s a personal matter. I need to know if there is anyone that has information regarding the care of a Warg. For the most part I’m familiar with the diet she had previously, but I’m not certain about the frequency or the amount of exercise and training that I should be providing for her. And I’m doubtful of some of the answers that she has provided me.

In addition, I’m in search of a plumber and carpenter to take care of damages that were recently sustained to our house.

Finally, for anyone that was attempting to reach me in the past weeks, I am now monitoring the network once more and will resume my usual responsibilities at this time. If there is a matter that requires my attention please notify me as soon as possible.

Oh, I've got a Warg! We're talking about the ones from back in Deerington, with the orcs, right?

Yes. The same from Deerington when that particular incident occurred. I would appreciate any guidance that you can offer.

I didn't know any of the other ones were still around! We ought to get them together sometime, see if they're friends.

[Michael figures either they will be, or they Very Much Won't Be, and it'll be pretty quickly apparent!]

Well, you really don't need to do too much training. I've been figuring that the orcs must have had them trained pretty well to do that whole war mount thing - they're pretty smart, and they already know a lot of commands. You mostly just have to get them to accept you first.

That might prove beneficial. This one's name is Iris, she was previously cared for by Rei Hino until her recent departure.

I thought we were already past that point. But recently she seems to have been less cooperative and responsive.

Well, if I had to guess, she's probably upset that Rei's gone.

I realize that, but the best way to deal with it is to continue pushing forward and getting back into a training routine. Or at least no dragging all of the laundry back out after I put it away.

But back in the dream there was a period where Rei had been trapped as a spirit and I had helped a little with taking Iris out for walks and exercise.
I'd happy to help out until you get the hang of things.

She occasionally goes with me on Patrols. But we haven't gone recently.

If you'd like to visit, you're welcome to do so. She has been less agreeable recently, but perhaps having company will help with that.

A sink that needs to be replaced, as well as a door that needs to be replaced and reframed.

That'd probably be a good way to burn some of that energy. Plus, I think it helps with the bond - they were originally war steeds. They're used t working with a rider, to do...you know, whatever.

Sometimes, if there's shit going down. Back in Deerington, we'd usually just hunt for her food - saved some money on meat that way.

And when you run across other monsters or beasts while you're out hunting?

If you can source the new sink I can install it and fix the door. Not a problem. where are you?

Fair enough, I should be able to find a replacement easily enough. I'm in the Crenshaw district. A small house not far from the Watchtower. If you use the lamp, it's just a few streets south of it.

I'll have it by the end of today, but will let you know once I have. If you need directions simply ask some of the others about a Warg, most of those in the area are familiar with Iris and there aren't many other creatures like her with the number of hunters around.

Honestly, I just buy all the meat these days. There really isn't much of anything in the woods near here.

[Beasts, sure, but like hell is Michael going to feed those to his dog. Especially since finding out that they're people or something.]

I don't like to get in fights unless they're unavoidable. But I'll still take her out there to run around. It's...agility training, or something.

[So they were now back to where they started. Winter could just take Iris out for basic training exercises. Maybe use her summons to do a little combat training if the Warg did insist on patroling with her.]

[Well, that's just him. It sounds like Winter does patrols, though, so it's not really any of his business if she wants to ride for those or not!]

I'm sure you could take her to hunt beasts if you wanted. It just seems hard to train for - they're all so different.

[ Ah, Ange is pretty sure why Winter might have been a little more withdrawn lately when it comes to checking out the network - but she's tactful enough to not bring it up when the other isn't mentioning it either.

Is Ange worried though? A little, yes. Maybe that's why she replies, even if she talks about something else entirely. ]

Did something happen to your house?

It might be helpful to have her for tracking, but I don't want Iris involved with any of the dangers that some of the threats pose.
