Good evening, Sleepers, and I hope you are well. To those who do not yet know me, my name is Ozpin, and I have been present here - in Trench and the dream that preceded it - for somewhat over a year now.

In another time and place, I served as the headmaster of a famed combat academy. To some here, I am known as a private instructor. My door is always open to those wishing to hone their skills for the protection of others.

With new threats on the horizon, those skills will be more crucial now than ever. The world I come from has always needed heroes to stand against the darkness, and we have found one skill more vital than any other: teamwork.

At Beacon Academy, we began every year with a special initiation meant to encourage our students to work in cooperation, even when faced with terrible danger. This Saturday, at Gaze's clocktower, I intend to conduct a similar challenge. Combatants of any age or skill level are welcome to face the task, though I warn you the danger will be very real.

Given the dire circumstances, I shall ask no payment for lessons this month. In fact, for those who complete the challenge, I may be able to offer something of use in the coming fight.

I look forward to seeing some new faces this weekend, and to standing together when the need arises.

oh, that sounds like fun! i don't really have much experience with combat, but i have a friend that's been helping me with that! well, recently. i kind of just started.

i'm probably not going to be much of a help in any coming fights, but i'll be there to try out this training thing, anyway!

I must remind you it will be a dangerous exercise. Still, all are welcome. We are lucky to have so many Sleepers willing to learn.

Seriously, Danielle Dongspin? You sure you aren't still living in that dream?

Fine. I'll play you're little training game. But I'm going to show you what a real combat school can do. None of your free training BS, because in life you get what you pay for. So after this I'll be starting my own dojo and the only charge will be the blood, sweat and tears of progress.

Get ready to feel the bite of snake, teach. Because Cobra Kai has arrived.

I see no reason two schools must exist in opposition. There is room enough in Trench for many combat philosophies to interweave and create a stronger whole.

All the same, I welcome anyone who wishes to undertake the challenge.

Oh two school can totally exist. But it's time to establish a pecking order. We need to find out which one can the ever loving shit out of the other. I don't care for this working together shit, it's being the best around.
