[ The video flickers on to find Sara perched against her motorcycle on the edge of the woods, looking a little rough around the edges but mostly unhurt. ]
Alright, so... I can't tell if this place is better or worse than the last one yet, but judging from the creepy ambiance, the hopes aren't high. I've got some weapons with me from Deerington, though, so if you're in need of protection or a way to safety, let me know.
[ She chews on her lip a moment. ]
Also, anyone know where the hell to get a drink around here?

I haven't gone far yet - mostly sticking around Gaze, but we got a pretty warm welcome on arrival, and everyone I've talked to seem pretty nice - helpful, even?
[She returns the smirk.]
Granted, yeah, low bar - this place would have to actively try pretty hard to be worse than Deerington.

[ She chuckles. ] Helpful's good. Better than what we got back in Deerington, I guess.
But hey, don't jinx it. Plenty of room for shit to go sideways, right?

[No one is walking into walls, glitching out, or straight up disappearing, so Willow is willing to count the residents in Trench as a win, if only a small one.]
Ooh, yeah, trust me, no jinxing it over here. I mean, there's plenty of ominous stuff here too - look at the door we came through to get here. But we've got a lull for now, so might as well enjoy it while it lasts, and worry about the rest when it happens, right?

Guess Deerington taught us a lot about how to cope with absurdity, right?

Yeah, pretty much. Where I came from did a pretty good job of that too. I mean, it wasn't as bad all the time as Deerington, but sometimes I could definitely see some similarities. We just had more vampires.
