[A lot of other places had been opening lately, and Makoto could probably find a dozen reasons to keep putting it off. But she was ready, and there was no reason to delay it anymore, plus Valentine’s day was only a week away so if she was going to do this, it was now or never. Taking a little extra time she dressed up a bit more than she usually would, and was wearing a bit more make-up, though her signature rose earrings, and the matching pendant and bracelet she’d been given were clearly visible as well.

It was early but there was still plenty of light and a little traffic out on the sidewalk. As the video starts she’s standing in front of a building in the Cellar Door district. Flowers, a pair of tables, and a window with the name Flour and Bloom frame her as she offers a small bow. She was a bit nervous but she managed to smile still, this was about the sixth time she’d made this video.]

Alright, so there’s been a lot of new additions lately with arrivals and other businesses opening. I’d like to introduce Flour and Bloom, a floral shop and bakery that I’m opening today. We’re in the Cellar Door district and currently have a small selection that’s perfect for Valentine’s day next week, or other celebrations taking place currently. Besides Christmas roses, we have winter honeysuckle, Pansies, winter aconites, snowdrops, and different herbs & mushrooms.

Fresh made this morning with the help of Snow White we also have Elderberry Tarts, Cinnamon Delights, Sugar Cookies, and Lemon Pound Cake. Though we’ll take special requests and are going to have baking lessons for those interested as well.

Sugar cookies? You have sugar cookies! Klee hasn't had those in a super long time. I don't know the other stuff but they sound really yummy too! I did know there more pretty looking flowers.

We do, made fresh just for our grand opening. If you'd like you can come and try a few of the others and see if you like them and I can tell you about the different flowers and plants.

And now I have two bakeries to shop at. My gods, but what ever shall I do? Well, I certainly won't be missing the opening day. I know someone who needs a floral bouquet.

[In truth? It was kind of perfect. She could buy the occasional pastry from one, because she did like Makoto's cooking, but she could get her flowers at this shop and her pastries at Lysithea. perfect. She could support them both!

...just wait until someone opened a third store.]

Yeah, I already spoke with Lysithea and helped her when she was getting it going. She helped me in return and introduced me to a lot of helpful people.

Luckily we're in different districts. But I'd be glad to help with a bouquet, is it for who I think?

Good. And like you said, you're in different districts, so it's perfect for having the Trenchies as clients. Helps to keep the competition down.

[Not that there was a true economy around here, but honestly? Still a good principle.]

Oh now, you can read me like a book. I was thinking of brightening her day up. Perhaps you can give me a recommendation for something sunny that's in season?

[He had meant to make this voice, but his thumb slipped. She'll recognize him as that guy who danced to save her in December, but his skin is an off color and the scar over his left eye looks like it's breaking open. Visible signs of corruption that he's doing his best to ignore and smile through, but the strain is clear.]

Man, all that sounds awesome. If you ever need some fresh milk for your baking, I've got a dairy cow here in the city.

[Much safer than trying to barter for the scarce sources of dairy cow milk out in Trenchwood, though he does only have one. And it's clear he does not recognize her at all, seeing as she was Jupiter at the time they met.]

[She recognized him, well for the most part. Though it looked like he'd had some rough times of his own recently.]

That'd be a great help. I'd give whatever you wanted in return. Or if there's something else that you need help with I wouldn't mind lending a hand.

[He opens his moth to respond, but then that question comes and he blinks. Very confused now. But due to corruption, it's a muted reaction, the surprise very mild and subdued, disconnected.]

[Minako may or may not be drooling at this point. The thought of all those sweet treats was enough to do it. She likes Makato's cooking okay?]

[Not to gush or anything, but Atsushi is awed by how confident and cheerful Makoto looks on the video. He doesn't immediately respond, as he can only imagine how busy she's going to be with people asking questions. Instead he gives it a few minutes.]

How's it going, Makoto-chan? Do you need anything?

[Up until the video she had been really nervous, and even making it there had been butterflies. But now that it was done and people seemed to be responding positively, Makoto was happy and certain had a pep in her step.]

Sushi-kun! It's going great. Everyone seems really supportive and glad so far. And I've already talked to a few people about trades and what they want and are going to bring.

I don't need anything but if you want to come by for lunch we sit down and have some together. Oh have you met Snow-white yet?

Is that okay? I'd love to have lunch together.

[But he doesn't want to impose either. This is Makoto's dream and Atsushi still isn't sure where he fits in with this. At the very least, he knows that he likes to see Makoto happy about the bakery.]

[ For a moment Chizuru is quiet - just staring in awe. It's like the girl totally forgot for a moment that she turned on the feed.

Though she then quickly seems to realise. It causes a pink hue to pass over her cheeks, before she quickly shakes her head and speaks up. ]

A flower shop and a bakery in one shop.. That's really impressive, um, miss..

[ This is where she realises that she doesn't know the other person's name. And Chizuru has - thanks to some help - already figured out that usernames usually aren't people's actual names, so she can't use that. ]

[Oops she'd forgotten one pretty important detail in her video it seemed. But then she had gotten used to a lot of people knowing her because of Usagi and the fact that the place wasn't very big. With a smile and small blush of her own she offered a small bow.]

[ Chizuru repeats the name with a smile on her face, happy to have gotten it so easily - and that the name feels so familiar to her too, something so Japanese. Sometimes you have to cling onto the little things that remind you of home in a place like this. ]

It's so nice to meet someone as talented as you as well! [ After all, she can sell baked goods and flowers. That's some multi-talent in Chizuru's eyes. ] My name is Chizuru Yukimura. I would love to visit your shop, but I'm afraid that I might not have much to trade yet for the goods..
