This may sound terribly stupid, but let me preface that with the fact that I'm new. Still terribly new, despite all I have seen in the past several days.

What is the difference between an Arcane Scholar and simply a scholar? If I'm interested in the one, does it dictate that I be interested in the other? [a frustrated sigh] I realize this may all be rudimentary to those who have been here a while, but I'm still at less than a month, so please show me some measure of mercy?

Interesting... the things you heard, anything useful? I believe there's arcane scholars who could help you master that blood magic, if that's something you're interested in.

Nothing really, unless one counts what a person would like to have for lunch. But I've been trying to not pay attention, it's all a little scary. At least so far it is, it's completely outside my experiences to be able to...do things. And, what does blood magic involve? Exactly?

Well, it's something. It can be overwhelming, but it's best to try to adapt to it and grow accustomed to it than actively fighting it. I imagine actively fighting your own magic will just lead to corruption. There's no rush though, take your time.

Blood. It's quite complicated but there's a few people who'd be more qualified to answer any questions you might have in the archives.

Yes. That was what I was afraid of. How does one...usually open themselves up to thoughts? And will I only hear them when I'm speaking to them in person?

But I've heard of corruption, but few seem willing to discuss it.

Where I'm from, no such skills exist. Not that can be proven, at least. I'm trying to see past myself, into what is instead of what was.
