[The feed opens up to wide shot of the carnival going on at the boardwalk before slowly panning to the side to reveal Ruby standing at the counter of a ring toss game. She looks deep in concentration as she lines up her shot and she's about to toss the ring when the operator of the feed let's out a sudden birdy squawk. She let's out a yelp and the ring gets flung off screen. Apparently her Omen is the camera operator today. She looks to him with a huff of frustration.]

Minden! That wasn't the cue!

[She quickly lightens up from there though.]

Oh well-Whatever.

Hey Trench.

It's your girl, Ruby Rose.

So that Leviathan thing was pretty crazy, huh? My world was absolutely crawling with different kinds of monsters but I can't say I've ever come across something like that. It was pretty awesome and I mean even I'll admit a little terrifying.

I just want to thank everyone stood up and did their best to defend our home from that thing. It was pretty inspiring to see us come together like that. It's amazing what we can do when we all come together.

[She turns a little serious from here on.]

...And I know it's hard to just go back into the daily swing of things after experiencing something like that. Whether you were injured, watched someone close to you fall or died yourself. Just because we come back here doesn't mean stuff like that doesn't take a toll on you.

A teacher of mine once said you can't spend every day on the battlefield, even if that's what you want. And it took awhile for me to really get what he meant by that. So just... Try and take some time to just enjoy yourself. Live life either by yourself or with some friends. Take pride in what we did and enjoy what the place we defended has to offer. We've all earned it.

[She let's out a breath and smiles.]

Okay. Serious talk is over! If anyone wants to go a round or two at some of these games I'm here all day. I will take on all challengers!

[Stan stayed the hell away from the whole Leviathan mess - he knows how to pick his battles and Giant Monster Fight is not usually what he goes for when he's got a choice.

So, he's more here for the carnival games.]

[Ruby unfortunately had a hard time backing down from a fight like that. But she also didn't fault anyone wasn't looking to take part in it. Standing up and fighting was a choice.

She looks to Stan and puts on a mock offended look.]

Are you suggesting that these fine carnival folk may have altered the games to make them harder to win in a way to maximize their profits and make it harder for people to win?

What kind of charlatan would do such a thing?

[She's laying it on pretty thick for the joke.]

ME! I would and I have! Back in Gravity Falls I threw a carnival at the Mystery Shack and spent the whole thing sitting in a rigged dunk tank mocking anyone that came near me with a megaphone! Worked pretty dang well too until some jerk hit the bulleye with a laser.

[He sounds.........alarmingly proud of all this. Definitely too proud of this.]

Plus I grew up on a boardwalk like this - I know every trick in the book!

Well you know, my uncle used to say there was no such as cheating as long as you don't get caught. That's some great dedication there.

[She looks worn down. It's the month, really, and what the Leviathan fight did - it's not a good combination. Every waking moment is like a dull ache, it seems.]

Oh no- That sounds pretty rough... It hasn't been that bad for me... Just a whole bunch of flowers growing around the house.

Don't mention it. Maybe I'll win you something at the carnival instead?

[Luz was already worrying about someone right now, but it would be a good idea to get a run down, especially since she'd been away from all of that].

Uh. What happened with this Leviathan? I was out of commission, and I'm just hearing about it now.

So basically a guy named Paul told us there was a giant monster coming to shore and it was going to huge trouble.

Turns out that the understatement of the century.

But we gathered up a team to stop and repel it. It was a huge thing on the shoreline. Korra turned into a giant like energy person, we made a giant robot and like a whole bunch of other stuff.

That thing still ripped right through them and it got to shore line!

Then bam slam! We kept fighting and managed to take it down. It was pretty intense.

I have seen giant monsters before and this thing was just weird and like warped and changed reality around it.

It's hard to even describe it.

Getting better. It was a rough few weeks. Missed birthday, sucked some blood, was naked when I detransformed. So! Humbling AND humiliating!

If...I was wondering if you were still making those weapons for people. I might need that one day.

Oh man. That sounds crazy. Also, I MISSED Korra doing something cool, darn it!

Oooofffff... Oh no that does sound pretty rough. We had to deal with someone in our house doing the whole blood sucking thing. That like literally sucks.

I hope there weren't a lot of people around when you transformed back.

[Her eyes do brighten up.]

Yeah! I do actually. I haven't been advertising but after that whole fight I think I might get back into it.

What kind of weapons are you looking for?

[She gives a little bit of breath.]

It was rough- But I managed to get out with my life. Fights like that are a lot and I'm trying to be more aware of that.

I just didn't really realize how far gone she was at the time, which I honestly should have.

Some of the hunters might have seen her, though if she's gone?
I'm not sure if that's better for her or worse, come to think on it.

I knew she wasn't doing that great.
But it's hard to tell exactly what's going to push people over the line here.
